I did a clean install before installing the DB 2016 version, and right now I just have that. don't know what seems to cause the crashes |

One quick question:
I started a "be a pro" career after installing the 2016 1.1 update. Still got a crash around end june (something with portugese time trial).
After reading here i downloaded the 1.2 update (no problems now  ) because that update should fix the problem with the crash. No when i go back to my old game, it still crashes end june.
does this mean that the crash fix that comes with update 1.2 only works on new games and not on exsisting games? Or did i do something wrong and should the 1.2 crash fix also fixes old savegames ? |

1.2 should definitely fix the 27/06 crash even for older careers. Maybe it's a different bug causing it. Is the crash in your older game on 27/06 exactly?

You should install the v1.2 variant dlc to fix it, not only the 1.2. As far as I remember, since the bugged championships were included in the variant dlc 1.1, we decided to only include the fix in the 1.2 of the dlc.
@luc, try reading the faq, the local.cdb crash is probably caused by a wrong installation then.

Installing the variants did the trick.
Thank you and other committed members here for all the help, so a computer noob like me can also enjoy the game. I can't be told enough how helpfull this is. Great job ! |

I've done everything you suggest (clean install and all that), but my game crashes every time I click in the "single race" button. I am able to start a career, btw.
Any suggestion? Thanks.

si uso el traductor de google mi inglés es penoso jajaja, te explico: se me queda pillado el 27 de junio y al cambiar nuevo dia se me crashea y me echa, he probado una semana antes y igual, me descargado la version 1.2dlc pero no se ni donde tengo que extraerla ni a que carpeta... gracias y perdon por las molestias |

You need to install the variant dlc in the same place as where you have installed all the other patches. So where you can find pcm.exe.

Just install the setup.exe, no need to delete anything. The file will automatically overwrite the faulty files.

si ya lo he instalado he probado a meterme y me sigue dando el mismo error, ahora probare una semana antes a ver si se arreglase sino tendré que empezar una carrera nueva, muchas gracias

los pasos si los he hecho bien, porque yo compré el juego y lo meto en la carpeta correcta y eso... |

No problem.
Considering the game crashes on June 27th, you must have installed the 1.1 already. What I'm saying is that you need to make sure you are installing the 1.2 of the dlc in the correct path.

Me lo voy a bajar el 1.1 igualmente también, total no pierdo nada, el 1.2 que yo sepa lo he guardado bien, me voy a quedar sin saber lo que le pasaba, y me da rabia porque voy a tener que empezar de nuevo habiendo ganado con Jungels el giro en dificil |
