Just to piss off Ruben, Vanmarcke says he started the sprint too early Pfft

Pfff, what does he know? Sitting on his couch it's very easy to criticize. Another couchpotato viewer.

@isso: maybe too early, but still he said he started with 175m to go.

Not 300m like the ridicolous comment above, that was my point.
Should be pretty clear even for you.

So you're not pissing me off. In fact vanmarcke is pissing that couchpotatoe off who came with his ridciolous claim of 300m

Great race. Shame about Stybar and Vandenbergh though. At least Vandenbergh seems to be alright, first though for me was that he'd broken something. And Stybar was unlucky, he could have definitely given Cancellara and Vanmarcke a run for their money at the finish, given he held on (Which I believe he would have).

I thought Vanmarcke was gonna win. But its awesome to see Canc take the Flanders-Roubaix double

I still can't get over it. So unlucky for Styby, he is such a nice person and he was riding for his grandma that died the week before. Frown

My eyes were going wet and that does not happen often. Hopefully he has some more professional years ahead of him and can get his revenge on any type of the race. I am glad i was not foolish in belief that Stybar can be a star on the road too. Incredible talent and great person.

Hear, hear!

I was so excited when I saw Cancellara going and suddenly I saw one little guy hanging on. "Is that Stybar? WTF!" like a little devil in Spartacus' shadow. It was amazing. Too bad he made that little mistake (you can see he comes from cyclo-cross, anyone else would've fallen off his bike!)

"Little guy"?

I was also wondering why Ian calls him little with his 1.83cms and 68kgs. Well, he is little if standing next to me, but above average for a cyclist. Smile

I guess you can call him little, compared to Cancellara. They are more or less of similar height, but Cancellara is quite heavier.

issoisso
Cancellara has 20kg on him, yes. Approximately same height.

My sources say 12kgs difference, but that is not important, he is surely more tiny, while he is no Rujano or Dumoulin. Smile

And he's still a bit shorter than the winner from 2 years ago, Johan Vansummeren Wink
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Vanmarcke has apparently given up his Belgian passport and traded it for a Dutch one. ... Wink

You can have him! Pfft

Thanks Ian Pfft

Well, since we Belgians already have 55 winners out of 111, we could give the Dutch a second place maybe Pfft

Miguel98
Isn't it 56 wins? Or if not, Paulo Martins screwed up, again.
