I don't know if I'll be able to live with that.

Euskatel should be pretty pleased about this years Vuelta. I mean, they are second in the team classification, that's something, right? Right?
In other news, do you think Valverde can get the point jersey today? If I'm correct he needs just 5 points on Rodriguez so he should be able to do it with a top 10.

The sprint will likely be dominated by the sprint teams solely, though at the same time it could well be quite chaotic so that might play into his hands. It will be interesting to see, that is for sure.

If Valverde gets the green jersey, they will both have 8 points in the combinationjersey. Who will take that jersey then?

Valverde took it.
Rodriguez loses absolutely everything in spectacular fashion.

I don´t know why, but the combination jersey is for Valverde too. |

He's higher on GC.

Fu*king Degenkolb took it again. Viviani deserved a sprint stage in this Vuelta. |

Not really the boy couldn't actually get round Degenkolb for 5 sprints just out-classed. |

Degenkolb has been unbeatable this Vuelta. Very impressive. I have to admit, I find it abit funny how Rodriguez was so strong a few stages ago and dominated completely only to come away from the Vuelta with absolutely nothing.

Whats your background in cycling? what major tour team have you run for and which local tv-station are you working for now?
But then again your entitled to your opnion just to bad noone or almost noone is going to agree with you
You are quite agressive, my friend. Besides, invoking background in cycling or experience in managing cycling teams is some poor argumentum ad autoritas (or even worse, since I don't think you have managed a cycling team yourself, but anyways).
In any case, despite having enjoyed this year's Vuelta, Kumazan has strong arguments. 2009 and 2010 Giro d'Italia were amazing, probably the 2 best GTs in the last few years, and it is very likely this Vuelta's main appeal was due to Contador's tenacity and the unexpected performance of RodrÃguez.
I rather stop now. Perhaps you are the one who is trolling and I'm feeling like a dumb by taking the bait.
Not agressive at all.
And i can agree that 2010 Giro was good but i still think that this years Vuelta is better, it had a hungry Contador, a amazing Rodriguez and a angry Valverde who could have won it all if stage 4 didn't ´t have that major crash.
All in all this Vuelta had everything a race should have. Just think of the time-trial where Contador was just 1 second away from Red and then the mountains where Rodriguez showed who is boss, just to loose everything.
But then again i might be hungry myself after a TdF that was more boring then watching paint dry. |

For me the best rider was Joaquim Rodriguez in terms of quality of moves and performances. He is really something to be seen when in a race like this that favoured him and he is in good form. Valverde did very well and Contador is a champ. Great race, good Froome not giving up even when 10min behind (although this should be the norm for an ambicious rider not the exception). It's true that Purito lost all the jerseys (top 3 in all them though) but he became a legend in the meantime... Best rider since Delgado? |
