Who do you think is a better tt-ist Nibbles or Bertie. I'm asking cause I don't know what to expect from Contador after basque country tt and the Italian is a strong tt-ist anyway. |

When Nibali and Fuglsang drops Sagan and Spartacus, then something is wrong...
They didn't really drop them, it's because Sagan didn't want to work for Spartacus and other way around. These 2 guys doesn't really like each other, so it was kinda expected.
Also this was 100k shorter than Paris-Robaix - so it is easier for the non-specialists to hang on.
All this and that, 100 k shorter, Sagan and Cance not friends etc. - out of the window. Boom was the strongest today and Nibali and in particular Fuglsang was stronger than Cancellera and Sagan. If they werent, there had not suddenly been a gap on that last secteur.
Fantastic stage, definetely one of the best i have watched. Fuglsang rode amazingly, reminds me of Rasmussen in 2007 for what its worth, lol. Hype! |

I want to give credits to Roelandts because he paced about 60 KM for Van den Broeck . It's a pitty that Van den Broeck crashed, because i believe he would have been in the Nibali group. Still great job though from them

Great stage, unfortunately Froome crashed out and we lost a few cobbles, but it was a really good stage!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Yeah, Roche, Rogers, Paulinho and Hernandez are shite
Seriously, go troll somewhere else.
Come on will this people even drop Astana or Sky climber domestiques in mountains? Like Nieve or Fuglsang. They are good riders I'm not saying anything about that.
Contador will miss Kreuziger in mountains. |

Well, that was all in all unbelievably sweet stage. Even though Bertie lost huge chunks of time, this stage offered pure racing and that's why we watch.
Bertie will of course attack and attack next weeks, but will the form hold up enough? Nibali has obviously perfect peak. Nothing all year but he's here now and that's what counts. Seems like a solid battle for GC positions will be up, whilst only a selected few challenge Nibali?

I love cobbles. What a fantastic stage.
Sets up the GC perfectly as well, with Contador and many others forced to attack early to take back the time lost today

Ya the 15+ mins Hernandez was after the GC before today was just a lie right.
This is a repeat of last year and it just proves that Contador is finished as a GC favorite. |

He crashed/punctured just before the real action started. Probably did not go all-in to make it back afterwards. |

Yeah he did crash before Froome.exe abandoned. Probably as soon as he realised he isnt getting back on he just cruised. |

Hahaha... yeah, a flat cbs stage decides over who is a GC favourite and who not. In that case, I'll put a bet on Sagan winning all 4 jerseys next year... or maybe this year already?

Are you kidding? Contador not a GC favorite? Have you watched Tirreno, Dauphine,Tour of the Basque country? |

Its difficult to say. Contador has performed poorly in shorter Tirreno TT this year and then good in longer and hillier TT at Pais Vasco.
While Nibali has been generally been good in TTs.
This TT on penultimate day is long 50kms so I believe Nibali will gain time on Contador maybe even 1min. |

Lost some respect for TVG in that interview. The tour should reward the best all around rider not just the guy who can climb and TT the best.
