All the momentum shifted Ivory Coast's way this half.

After missing out Tony Martin today at 14/1 and Colombia at 2.0 I am glad I am finally off and running with some profit here today. Thank you Drogba, Aurier crosses and Bony's head.

I am disappointed by the Japanese team. They have good players but never manage to do anything with it because they forget the opponents strength.

I disagree, Rin. They have 3-4 players, who play as starters in one of Euope's major leagues (Kagawa, Honda, Nagatomo) the rest play as reserves in the big leagues or in their native league.

Yoshida, Kawashima and Uchida play in Europe as well I believe.

Southhampton, Standard and Schalke respectivly. both the Sakai (Hiroki and Gotoku), Hasabe, Kiyotake, Okazaki and Osako also play in Europe.

It's a public secret that the Spain squad was doped during the last 3 tournaments. They don't seem to be now. In the WC 2014 they all sprinted for 90 minutes with 2-3 players constantly pressuring the oppositions player on the ball.
Even though Spain has had a horrible offense during these years, this dope-fueled high pressure tactic meant they hardly conceded any goals and got their trophys this way.
Er, no. If anything, it's a public secret that that World Cup was fixed.

Pretty sure Switzerlands goal is correct. There is a new situation after the overjump as he is activly giving the ball to another player. If he is touching the ball or not is irrelevant.

No, Several of them are high profile players in the Bundesliga which is the most popular destination for Japanese players in football outside of Japan and the GK plays for Anderlecht I believe in Belgium and I believe he is the starter there.
There are only about 4 or 5 players in Japans starting 11 from Japan and all of them are quite good in their own right, plus the J - League is actually a pretty good quality.
The problem for Japan is that they have weak Center backs, a crazy goalie and no real threat at striker, since Okazaki is played out of position. Kakitani is young, Osako is neither very fast, nor very tall and the same can be said for pretty much all of Japans strikers atm.
Japan also failed to use their pace yesterday and their strong midfield never seemed to hold possession long enough.

I put a bet on France winning by two goals or more, but now I'm regretting it.
I've analyzed every minor detail, but forgot the biggest thing that goes against a french win; the fact that they're french.
My prediction; two abdications, three revolutions and eight beheadings. And then the 2nd half starts.

that's why I bet 0-2 for Honduras
penalty and a red card for palacios. can France overcome the problem that they are French?

I can barely watch this France - Honduras game. Just brutal stuff from the Hondurans. Someone is going to end up injured.

As far as I know, one of them is in the starting Xi, the rest are benchwarmers
