@shortsNL: Depends on how quickly they changed the wheel. If Boom's wheel change took a bit long it's no miracle he can't return |

I was rooting for Stybar just as much until he made that mistake.
Partly, but lately I'm starting to dislike Cancellara. And I thought Vanmarcke was incredibly brave by not wheelsucking etc. But like I said, it's personal. Obviously Cancellara raced a great P - R and he deserves it, but I would've loved/preferred to see Vanmarcke or Stybar there. |

Btw, commentators said it was Pozzato's last PR ever, but I'm not sure why. Does anyone know more about this ?

If Stybar would have been there which is strongly possible. He would have won. Simple as.
I'd stone that idiot fan together with the one who took out Langeveld last year at de Ronde. |

Stybar shows that he has an incredible racing IQ. Was already known from cyclo cross but showed it again today.

Vanmarcke and Stybar And Kristoff seems to be Norway's future cobbler, let's see if he can develop more and do what Hushovd didn't. |

Spartacus!
By the way, will Stybar lead Omega Pharma - Quickstep in the Ardennes?
He seems to be in great shape!

What a great PR this has been!!
Okay, no Boonen-Ballan-horrible Pozzato-fluish Hushovd, but it had drama (Vandenbergh-Stybar) in it, great tactical racing (Cancellara waiting and waiting), surprises (Vanmarcke, Stybar, Gaudin) and a thrilling finish.
Totally enjoyed it!!

Pretty awesome racing. Great race by Vanmarcke - impressive he managed to hold on when Cancellara attacked. Maybe not the wisest tactic to lead out Fabu in the sprint, but on the other hand, it didn't seem like Cancellara was going to drag anyone to anything today. He's fed up with that.
Also loved seeing a totally dead Cancellara after the race, checked by a doctor immediately after and helped to the podium. That's what Paris-Roubaix requires |

Great race by Vanmarcke until the end. Better tactics needed to beat Cancellara in a 2up sprint.
Well its a Cancellara win, but a much more interesting one to watch than doing it solo!
What do you expect ..guy comes with Roubaix velodrome with Cancellara. I would had a heart atack on that moment. |

That Cancellara condition after race shows that he is not that beast iron man anymore...and has no energy-power to waste.
Ofcorse this is also Roubaix..I remeber how Boonen has trouble to get into podium a year ago.. |

Wow...
That translates more or less as :
Not paying attention for a second... Broken fingers/crushed chin/busted ribs, but especially a damaged morale !

That sucks, but it was entirely his fault, and in a situation where there is no excuse at all.
Speedy recovery nevetheless!

To be fair I was surprised that there wasn't someone there in a fluorescent jacket waving a yellow flag from the organization. |

Vandenbergh says it's as much his fault as of the spectator he hit

Well, that's true. Had he stayed on the road/cobbles rather than the gutter, it wouldn't have happened. |

Degenkolb states he hadn't had the legs today, but even worse, he was unable to shift neither up nor down on the cobbles, thus forcing him to ride a wrong gear on all pavés.
He feared to not make it back when changing the bike, so he only did when he was dropped.

Just to piss off Ruben, Vanmarcke says he started the sprint too early
