You will all know me best for that curious result. The rider who shares it with me is also no European but a big talent as well.

No. Another hint:
Even though i was a U23 rider, i won the national championships of my country. I got my first team shortly after that win.

Except that he only rode for one team in his career (Planet Energy later transformed into Spider Tech presented by Planet Energy)
- I've raced most of my career in teams near my home country;
- I share the record of most wins in a race with a retired rider from that nation's race;
- Even though my best results weren't in my nation, I finished inside the top-10 in my home tour;

Well, you're Portuguese and he has the equal most number of Volta a Portugal wins, so it was pretty simple.
I stayed in the east for for 4 years at a team from a country that was the same as mine at the time of my birth.
I then moved to a team in a very small country, before leaving that team during the season and moving to a team in a much larger country.
Then I had a year back near my second team, before leaving to the team I have now been at for two years. |
