If possible, do it tomorrow morning. If not, I'll try to find some names in your previous lists.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Draft 7-10
Unfortunately Fabianski missed the draft due to illness. I looked at his previous list and decided it may not be in his best interest to use these names. Also the rules tell me to send in names after. So Fabianski, whenever you feel better, send me 4 names and I'll add them to your team before the next draft. And for everyone else, this means 4 more riders will be gone before the next round starts.
The latest rounds saw a lot more variation on the lists. It's clear people start having doubts left and right. I don't have much time for a deep analysis, so I'll just give you the names:
| Spokes | Cobblers | Fearless | L | Mariners | Bonkers | GPTs | Racoons | Ice Tulips | Turuls | Inspectors | Comrades | Pacifiers | Hornets | R7 | ABRAHAMSEN Jonas | SHEEHAN Riley | | WILLIAMS Stephen | WAERENSKJOLD Soren | TRENTIN Matteo | TILLER Rasmus | JOHANNESSEN Tobias Halland | DVERSNES Fredrik | LUTSENKO Alexey | HOFSTETTER Hugo | STRONG Corbin | JEANNIERE Emilien | VAN ASBROECK Tom | R8 | EENKHOORN Pascal | STEIMLE Jannik | | AULAR Orluis | BLACKMORE Joseph | GACHIGNARD Thomas | DE BUYST Jasper | CAMPENAERTS Victor | CORT Magnus | CHRISTEN Fabio | JEGAT Jordan | ACKERMANN Pascal | DELETTRE Alexandre | VAN GESTEL Dries | R9 | KANTER Max | GAUDU David | | TRATNIK Jan | REX Laurenz | VERMAERKE Kevin | LAMPAERT Yves | LIPOWITZ Florian | DE KLEIJN Arvid | BIERMANS Jenthe | SENECHAL Florian | VENTURINI Clement | PENHOET Paul | KIELICH Timo | R10 | KRAGH ANDERSEN Soren | LAZKANO Oier | | JAKOBSEN Fabio | BUITRAGO Santiago | ASGREEN Kasper | THEUNS Edward | ARANBURU Alex | CARAPAZ Richard | FISHER-BLACK Finn | AYUSO Juan | GANNA Filippo | SKUJINS Tom | CAPIOT Amaury |
For the next rounds, I'll need:
R11: A rider from the country with most riders after R10 (your pick in case of a tie)
R12: A rider from your home nation
R13: Free pick
Please send these in by next wednesday 19/02 at 08:00 again. Remember you don't have to send it the last day
Final rounds after that will be:
Spoiler R14: A rider from your home nation or a country bordering it (pick only one country)
R15: Free pick
R16: Free pick

I figured everyone would be going for the Norwegians Still, pretty happy with that. Hoping Venturini and Strong can deliver solid results if they get a favorable schedule. Didn't love to spend a non-home country round pick on Ackermann, but I felt it was the best way to go. And quite pleased to get Ganna. A bit of a gamble, but if he gets to 2023 form, he could be huge.
Also, speedy recovery to Fabianski, hope you're feeling better soon!

Happy with those selections given I threw them together last night. Trentin may be washed, always a risk with a 35 year old, but he's been consistent for a lot of years now and at least has the track record of record everything. Gachignard seems like a sneaky breakout candidate, although maybe I'm kidding myself. Vermaeke was best of the remaining options, and Asgreen is a risk, but in the 10th round I have to gamble he could regain some form on a new team at only 30 years old.
Really need some climbers going forward though. All cobblers right now.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Almost missed Abrahamsen when I was creating names for this round, since I don't think he was picked at all in the 2024 draft - very happy I did a full look through and found him. Might be the thing I'm most proud of in this draft so far.
Not sure how much I like having Hermans AND SKA on the team, but maybe they'll get some teammate points for MVDP/Philipsen alongside a decent personal result of their own every once and a while.
Venturini, Skujins, and Aranburu I think will be the MVPs of this set of rounds

SKA moved to Trek
UU (again ) stole Williams, so I'm very sprinter heavy at the moment. Blackmore and Buitrago give me some chances on the hills, but only if they do those instead of stage races. Rex is a nice addition.
Hard to say who had the best picks as for a lot of riders it will depend on how many classics they'll ride, but I must ay I like the Cobblers picks.

well... I actually feel better about this pick now. He might not do all the classics, but having a great team around you helps! And I do think that he'll improve with Trek, even if he has to fall into a 3rd/4th favorite most of the time.

Given my weak track record, losing a rider to me might be seen as a win.

Really sucks to miss out on this round. Wouldn't have bothered about the remaining ones, but having to pick from the leftovers for R7-10 made my motivation drop to the point where I thought I'd just skip the game for this year...
Still picked 4 riders now, but anything higher than last place will be a success this year.

The Fearless draft:
R7: BRENNER Marco
R8: VAN HEMELEN Vincent
R9: TRONCHON Bastien
R10: ADRIA Roger
Full draft is now on the first page

And there go two of my top picks for the next rounds But great to still have you in the game!
Also in reviewing the last picks I only can hope Gaudu actually does some more classics than it seems right now. If he still enters the Ardennes triple he could be a steal, otherwise it's probably a bust.

6/10 riders in our team French so far, really playing into the regional focus Some nice riders I think, although they could probably use 1/2 more years to become higher scorers. Skujins would be great if he's still as good as last year, we'll see
Must really find some hilly riders now though, let's see if I can find those somewhere!

@kb, cunego
The riders were available for you as well in R7-10, so guess you didn't want them that much after all
Would have preferred going with Lutsenko/Trentin/Christen in R7 (couldn't decide on the order yet and then had to abandon) and Penhoët in R9, but alas... In particular Christen already gone is surprising and really nasty for R12.
And the last positions for the first free draft in R10 are bad anyway, doesn't change a lot whether you're 3rd to last or miss out completely in that case ^^

Brenner was my R12 hope just like Christen for you, so it wouldn't have made much sense to pick him up before then. A calculated risk, just a bit unfortunate that it didn't work out, that's all

I'm just happy the Christens are in the same team, so I can't give points to the wrong team. Will have to keep track of the Paret-Peintres though

Or you could save yourself the trouble and give all their points to Valentin.
