Now only fintas (Binance) and Roman (Moser - Sygic) remain to confirm. SportingNonsense (EA Vesuvio) usually confirms last, so I expect him to confirm. IMO Hosaur (Adidas - Eurocash) and ShinyShinx (Saeco) will be both no show. I also have doubts if Shonak (Strava) will continue.

You're missing tsmoha (Amaysim). That's why roturn mentioned two PT and PCT teams each still pending (Moser, EA in PT; Amaysim, Binance in PCT).
But yeah, looks like we won't need ten new teams this time - I wonder what would happen if we got that many applications - some of them being refused, or some very inactive teams being in danger?

Technically CT is an ucapped division, so it won't be a huge issue but yeah positive that we won't need 10 new teams.

Technically yes, but I thought it was agreed last year that with the current amount of races available, CT should be 20 teams at most - otherwise race attribution would be an even bigger headache (iirc for some teams even the indicated "replacement races" for C1/C2 weren't enough last year...).
But yeah, not my decision in the end anyway

IMO wouldn't be much of an issue to make the CT 22 teams without changing the division. Should be doable I think.
But I would probably pick the 6 best entries in that case, rather than kicking a long term manager out who's doing the duties, but is inactive. I think the risk of getting a new manager in who won't do their duties is relatively high. Usually we have some that doesn't even enter the transfers.

While I agree to this, it would be bad if just for a great application one of the 6 then disappears before transfers or afterwards while one of the 7+ would have been a great addition.

As many CT teams as possible pleaae, do we really need an arbitrary number? Id love a 40 team CT, would be great for the health of DB

Not sure if it helps the DB when 20 additional teams each getting 5-10 talents and developing them additionally.
Bigger issue though that we would need like plenty more races to get each CT and then also PCT C1 not overbooked.
We don`t speak about 5 races then but more likely 15-20 more races minimum, which just goes against the burden of the reporters.
So no chance, sorry. |

Indeed. Looking at the 2023 calendar, C1/C2 gave room for 34 CT teams (with 140RD each) - supposing there are no PCT teams at all... Wouldn't be at all against having more teams, but we'd need more race designers and reporters, given the technical limitation of the number of teams per race.

It could be.
The burden between seasons is obviously different to the in-season tasks, where we ideally have a linear and determined progress.
I Don’t think it’s much of an issue with more developped talent development tbh. Most of those talents would be so bad that they only influence on the CT.
