Here is the current look of the squad. We have 11 different nationalities, 8 of which have just 1 rider represented while the other 3 are as follows:
5
3
3
The average age within the team is 26.4 while we have only 3 riders who are over the age of 28. We hope to keep this average down through transfers.
Finally, of our 19 riders. 12 have completed their development, 3 have 1 year remaining and 4 have 2 years remaining.

The sponsors are pleased with the Spanish representation in the squad but they have set targets for this transfer window in terms of bringing in more experience but also securing the future of Spanish cycling.
Across the rest of the team, we feel we have strong secondary leaders and support but we know there is work to do to bring in riders who will score well and keep us in the PT division for years to come. |

Really excited for what you do to adapt the squad for PT. It's such a cool group and so young as well. Awesome future but need to secure the present obviously to make sure the team can stay together in PT

Ovsya bout to go nuts in PT, although I am afraid he won't get the preferential treatment in terms of training he deserves

Luis F.D.L.C.C for the win If your Spanish sponsors feel the South/Central-American invasion is becoming a bit too much, we might be talknig this transfer season Congratulations on a well deserved promotion yet again, and best of luck during transfer season

I think you'll do perfectly fine in PT, unless you choose to go in a different direction of course.

Congratulations to your promotion! Your squad should have a nice future as long as you can find some PT captains in transfers (or the money to train your own riders to this role). Best of luck with that!

@jandal
Thank you mate! Definitely going to be an interesting window to get the team set for more than 1 season in the PT. Looking forward to the chaos
@quadsas
Can't be trained this year anyway! But he hasn't been ruled out in the future. Will have a big role to play this year regardless.
@Nemo
Thanks for the congrats mate. Good team harmony with the Spanish speakers to don't think they're too much of a concern yet hahaha But we'll be chatting anyway.
@redordead
Thanks mate! Looking forward to our battles both in transfers and during the season. Wish you the best of luck also
@kandes
Appreciate it! We'll have to see what route makes the most sense. |

Cool to see my former loanee Jakobsen back to PT, I hope he can bag some GT stages after he just missed out as an unmaxed rider. Ovsyannikov is also a rider I have an eye on since he was added, will be interesting to see how he does. Good luck! |

Amazing team. It just is!
Also some interesting riders in that "Maybe" list. Definately interesting swap opportunities. In particular Ovsyannikov, when you have a pretty weak cobbled setup like myself.

Love the team, such a great mix of riders and a great base to build on. Can’t wait to see how you adapt your team to the big leagues

Ruben Fernandez has the longest tenure of any of our riders having been with us from the inception of the team all the way back in 2014. 9 years, of which the 2nd was out on loan, in which he has been promoted 4 times and relegated twice. He's still with us to make it 10 years in 2023!
Milos was much loved and appreciated by us and our fans and he is outright 2nd for tenure with 7 years before departing to Cedevita in the 21/22 transfer window.
What makes us very happy after this is that the next 7 riders have spent 5 years, or 6 in the case of Enric Mas, with us and they are all with us as we head into transfers. We have become a team where riders want to and will stay for a long time and we're proud of that.

That pre-2018 transfer season was a outstanding for you, picking up all those long-term riders, and not just lower-end domestiques, most of them are point scorers. Doubt many managers have been able to find that kind of core in one window.

Not to mention managing to keep it together despite relegation

WELCOME WELLENS
The team is proud to announce the signing of Belgian superstar, Tim Wellens! After a tense battle with other top teams across multiple divisions, we were able to secure the signature of the rider who was our Number 1 target coming into this transfer window.
He was the shining light in an Aegon team that unfortunately ended up being relegated. 28th in the PT Individual Rankings last year in a season in which he won the Vuelta a Colombia, finished 7th in the Tour of East Java, took 5th in the Criterium de Dauphine and topped it all off with 6th in the Tour de France.
He will be aiming for an even better year in 2023 with a season planned around his and the team's collective strengths.
We believe he will do very well with the support he has and we see no challenges in settling in as he has 3 countrymen in the team already, although he is significantly older than the others.

Great buy, on decent yes, but still high wage.
Hopefully he is as strong with you as he was with me last year. He really carried the team in every race he entered.
Good to see him having another prime chance on highest level in PT. |

Congratz on your first big signing. If he can repeat (or improve) on last season, that would be great for you

Good signing - curious whether that leaves room for other decent scorers to follow?

@roturn: Thank you mate! Yeah looks like he had a great season in 2022 so hopefully more of the same and maybe even better
@Jakstar22: Would have preferred his wage be a bit lower but always good to have a little FA battle We'll see you on the podium!
@Nemo: Thank you Sir! Hoping for the best
@DarkWolf: Thanks man. We've had quite a few Belgians in the team over time and 4 of them now which reinforces the contingent
@knockout: It is a high wage but we think we'll still have a competitive team at the end of it all! |
