Ya, I always like to see a rider get his first win.
Even if my danish gen’s might hope for Mads to take the stage, I did honestly hope to see him make it all the way.
And what a day we got ahead of us today

Mostly dropping into say that Drenthe was awesome fun today!
And then to also laugh about PCS trying to, idk, be funny about their own sexism vs Chloe Hosking but end up coming off in somehow worse shape. Casual reminder at this busy time of the cycling year that PCS is a sh*t openly sexist company and you should be using other sources wherever possible.

That was the only way he could do it. As the best descender

Obviously not a big deal on the international level, but I love how Mauro Schmid has been racing so far! Probably too aggressive at times, but sometimes it can pay off, like today. Actually surprised that Quick-Step allow him that much freedom, but I'm definitely not against it
Btw, hoping Colbrelli is fine and that he can return to racing soon! Really scary tbh...

Really sad we lost riders like Simon Yates, Michael Matthews etc., but otherwise it had been a great Catalunya (so far).

My heart broke for Ibon Ruiz yesterday at Itzulia. I am certain, though, not as much as his when he was caught with 400 m to go. But I have to wonder, what the hell did the Burgos, Caja Rural and Euskaltel riders in the breakaway think will happen when they stopped working together? Or what crazy orders they received from the cars? To have a 2 min lead over the peloton with only 20 km to go and screw the stage so much left me baffled. And saddened for the one who fought until the end.

AGR before P-R should be a crime against humanity
Can't believe AGR is decided in a photo finish twice in a row
Can't believe they called it before checking that photo finish

Kwiatkowski won that with the better throw. He did not have enough speed to come around in time, but the throw was timed and executed perfectly to nab him the few inches he needed.

Bit like when Pidcock won it on the throw last year but they gave it to Van Aert

Caught the final few kilometers of the Giro di Sicilia. Great solo win from 19 year-old Fran Miholjevic, I guess the first Croatian glory since the Kiserlovski days? Impressed me a lot, I’m sure he will leap to the World Tour soon (rides with Merida bikes, his father works at Bahrain… I can see an open door there). |

YES YES YES so happy for the man after yesterday and the last two and a half years and forever
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

No Pogacar at the start of LBL after Urska Zigart’s mother passed away this week. Tough time, respectful decision. |

Yeah, completely understandable. Good on him for putting that first.
Quick note that there are a few bets for LBL online. I tried to make a few interesting H2H bets as well, hopefully they somewhat make sense I'm also always open to suggestions for bets, especially those that are not just about the winner, like H2H or perhaps classification jerseys at the Giro, stuff like that. Ideally, you could provide me with the specific odds then, too Just send me a quick PM.
