Moving up a few spots is always nice. Quintana looked strong today, and hopefully it continues to close out the race. We haven't been too good at riding well when it matters most. Doing decently in the team classification as well, with Shirota, Costagli and Kratochvila all in the Top 50.

Just saying that the last stage will be a couple of hours later than the usual hour, but no worries, it will be online tomorrow

Merry Christmas!
Eventhough the stage played out kind of weird among the favourites, I must be happy with that, as Taaramäe consolidated his lead. We shouldn't really loose this race from here, but it obviously takes another day with focus and avoiding a really bad day. |

Good depth scoring for Kraftwerk, Hope we can hang on the 4th in teams as it’s worth a point and we need them all
Merry Christmas to one and all.

We secured our Top 5 goal with no real issue. 3rd in the KoM is a little disappointing, but very welcome with some bonus points. 4th in a PTHC race is very solid and its so nice being able to have a leader in these types of races.

Who knew that Panayotov would explode in the very last stage. Shame he came up short of winning the stage, but he got some points in our tally. It isn't much, but to survive the PCT division every point counts.
Congrats to all winners and congrats to Nemolito for the 6 fine reports.

The last couple of stages definitely didn't go as I'd hoped they will, but it's still a good race from Dombrowski with a solid place in the GC.
Thanks for the reports.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Surprisingly good scoring overall for us this race, despite the lack of a GC result, thanks for the reports!

A stage that went more or less the way we hoped! Brilliant ride by Nesset, hard to expect that much from him in a sprint. 3rd on the stage and up to18th in GC is a good way for us to end this race. Congrats to the winners!

You'd think we would be somewhat disappointed with neither Vasyliv nor Stüssi making either of those front two groups from the break, but their efforts today brought us the teams classification win, which was one of the reach goals for this race if everything were to fall in place!
So while there was obviously some room to improve on today's performance alone, we got both of our best domestiques into the break while Arndt still had good support from Helme and Egger in the peloton to secure his great 6th place overall, and Vasyliv/Stüssi get to add 20th and 24th to that respectively.
Focusing on our leader Arndt again, I've had doubts whether he was worth keeping on the team beyond this year if his departure could sufficiently contribute to our training funds, but with performances like this, he's very likely to get more chances with us.
He clearly proved his worth here after plenty of disappointing races in the last couple of seasons, what a week from him to finish right behind 3x84mo and 2x82mo riders!
Those are all obviously worthy of the spots above a 79mo Arndt, so 6th is an incredible result, easily beating guys like Alarcon and Denifl on pace alone, without any cheese necessary to sneak ahead.
It was simply consistent, attentive riding on all 3 relevant stages, which is well documented with 4th, 6th and 7th places on them.
So overall, there are practically no regrets taken home from this race, with breakaway appearances wherever reasonable, exceptional leader performances, and a good showing from all domestiques to add something to the final result, in particular in regards to the teams classification of course.
Congratulations to CT on that final stage win, and obviously ember on the deserved GC win that hopefully gets you a long way away from trouble for at least another while!
Thank you Nemolito for excellent, detailed reports that showed us everything we needed to know, and then some!
It's crazy to see you're only in your 6th week of reporting, and already producing such quality. The reporting future of the MG is in good hands again.

Couldn't agree more.
3rd on Teams is a great Christmas present for Kraftwerk and 15th 22nd and 27th in GC is the kind of depth scoring that could just keep us in PCT.
Congrats to the winners and Merry Christmas to all.

Quiet end for us here, which suited us very well considering Taaramäe's GC position. Taking the overall win here, and also two stages and the points jersey is huge. As cio rightly points out, hopefully this sees us stay safe for quite some time regarding the PT overall standing.
Not surprised to see us not able to control the final stage regarding the breakaway. That felt like the only logical outcome seeing the team we had here. I'm just happy we, or Taaramäe, were still able to defend the lead and win the race.
Thank you for the reports and the pace you've posted them at, Nemolito! I've enjoyed them a lot |

Getting both Schleck and Godoy into the final stage breakaway was certainly ideal, so it's disappointing the stage result played out so poorly for them - and not even any change in GC position either.

Nice to finish off with a stage win. Team was present in breakaways, and it finally paid off in the end. Pretty much all we could have hoped for.
PS. Pretty annoying to see Quintana doing well... |
