Aidan! That's a very, very nice win indeed.
And also Hampus with the silver medal. What a hero ride from him considering his stats. What a thrill! |

No way! This is crazy! I know the Vitosha climb well - I’ve done a hill climb race up there before (finished 3rd lmao). I remember the cobbled sections well.
I guess I have to send in my MG application now

Absolutely love to see a South African take out this race, and it being Aidan too, one of the frontrunners of African teams in MG (from my knowledge) in his managerial capacity, is a very special one. Brilliant, and awesome to have you back here as always, especially if you really apply again

Only fitting that Aidan returns in time to see his triumph.

Great report, worthy of the world championship Interesting to see the pure cobblers prevail, the win is the cherry on top of Grieg's great season, congrats!

I am not hugely surprised how much impact the cobble stat had.
Though I am hugely shocked, it wasn`t Polanc, who did win or Kruijswijk and instead being Wisniowski and Summerhill in the 1-2.
I guess, while this was entertaining and delivered a bit more of a surprise, next season might very well go back to a more regular route and maybe even make mountain a choice as well then.
Zardini 21st and De Bie 27th is pretty decent on a course like this.
Thanks for the nice report and congrats to all those, that had a successful WCs. |

Congrats to tastasol! Wisniowski is definitely a rider worthy of the rainbow jersey. |

Good to see the madness is over. Let's hope these ridiculous profiles are not a thing here to stay.
Nice racing by Oomen and Senni and a winner I really appreciate!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Congrats tastasol, as Bikex said Wisniowski is a great world champion and I'm sure he'll do well in the rainbow next year.
Was hoping for a Top 10 from Debesay here but had no idea, so decently happy with 11th and some involvement in earlier moves. Thanks for the stunning report Marco, great effort. And to all the reporters here, very high quality WC

Outstanding job and historical to get the World Championships Jersey to Poland, well done Wizniowski! Makes the fact we were so close at signing him more painful, but still, awesome job
Surprisingly aggressive tactics by Belgium, good to see. Wellens looked like a contender early on, but ultimately ran dry. Benoot and Teuns with some good teamwork also, good to see. Kudos to Bostner and Raileanu for making the TV with some fresh attempts. Overal lots of my riders were visible in the biggest stage of the season, really happy
