Obviously not our best stage, but with Masnada adding some minor points for 2nd in sprint and 3rd in KoM standings, and having secured 3rd place in the final KoM standings already, I obviously won't complain It's going to be something like 10 PpRD, which is definitely a great result for us!
Let's hope Masnada will somehow be able to hold on to his Top 20 GC - the chances of which would obviously have been much better had he been able to finish inside the front group today...
Thanks for another great report!

Senni doing really well so far and somehow my sprint train is still alive, so all is looking good at the moment, until the breakaway wins tomorrow.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Nice, could not beat the unbeatable but 2nd was a great result from Martin, he has been very cool in this race.
Thanks for a very nice report.

Bonnin har been terrific throughout this race. Great to see him in the break once again to secure the KoM jersey. One last chance for us on the next stage with Lobato. Obviously he's not one of the major favorites, but hope he can pull an upset again!

Why weren't we in the break? Why didn't Dyrnes try? I know this was always likely to be one of our least successful races of the season but that wasn't an invitation to swan around enjoying the views of Austria

Pluchkin is unbeatable, but we still hang on to second. Hoping Uran can defend that single second to Amador on the time trial...

It's a shame there was no selection or time gaps here, as Warbasse looked pretty good once again. I'm less confident about his time trialing abilities, so gaining a few seconds here would have made the top 10 possible. Instead, it seems unlikely with so many stage racers in front of him.
It's a pure flat day tomorrow. Appo has to do something. Something good actually, I'm gonna say that now so he doesn't get the wrong idea.
Great report Kent!

We are currently sat 10th and 14th on GC, not sure if I should be looking forward tot eh TT or not, I expect 1 rider to go forwards and the other one to go backwards, hopefully Ranaweera can claim the youth jersey from Faglum Karsson and Slagter won't lose too much time in the TT.

Haller Yes!
Edged a tight finish, good news for his prospects at the ToA.
Thanks for the report Kent.

That essentially concludes the race for us, as we've got no time trialists or a GC result to fight for. Really, really happy with two stage wins and the KoM jersey.
Thanks for the reports, Kentaurus!

Ah, got quite hopeful when I saw CNC joining the break that this would be a day for them and his best chance ever at a stage win, but well done to the pack on keeping them on a leash.

There is absolutely no freaking excuse for Appo not sprinting at all there. None. Look at the startlist and tell me he could possibly finish 16th. Unreal. I really just have to stop expecting even the bare minimum from these guys. Best sprinter in the field, and doesn't even grab a wheel. Beaten by every team in the relegation battle. These kinds of performances are what make question everything.

Well, just an average day at the office for our guys. This doestn't look like the race we expected, but let's wait for the TT first.
Thank you for the reports! |

Absolute dominance by Pluchkin...
Masnada with another not-so-great ITT, but if I got things right, he should still have won a position - P19 in an HC stage race is surely a huge result for him!
Thanks a lot for the reports, Kent - it'd be nice to have the full results, though

Meh, just a few seconds off again, somehow we always collapse near the end of the season. Thanks for the reports!
