Backup stats, my friend
What a race for us, our first ever GC win. Prologue was good and then we had 3 great sprints and 1 where we got overconfident and tried to set up a train
Feeling sorry for all the guys with bad luck here, especially TMM, but we really needed this to stay in the PCT. This really makes up for all the shit Waeytens has been giving me this year, Tom Van Asbroeck definitely the rider of the year for my team.
Thanks for the great reports, Tsmoha!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

My whole team is back-up stats, so I know the force. Still van Asbroecks are not that great to determine this result He has to be on steroids

Been away for the weekend, so time for a catchup
S1: Woohoo
S2: Meh
S3: Rly
S4: Rly again
S5: Good result by Holloway
Great to run away with a stage win here, and with 5th in the GC Holloway performed decently there in the end. Can you imagine how he would perform if he learned how to position?

Positives.... Marcus attacked for once, he's barely done that at all this year and to see him try and animate a flat stage was good to see. Huynh getting into the break also positive as we don't seem to get into that many.
Marcus still held a Top20 GC finish which wasn't expected of him. And we still got a stage win from the race, so there are some points incoming.
I also said i didn't expect Ricki to hold the GC lead, so at least i was prepared for him to go backwards.
But christ that was sh*t. At least crashes make sense, just being dropped doesn't! And Matthews imploded as well. Can't believe it was all wind because we still had guys in the group, and Marcus had energy to attack and he's not that superior to Ricki and Darren.
Anyway, still got a few points on the board, and this won't hurt our season that much. Instead of a great race we got an average one. We'll still be in the mid-table places away from relegation and i am more than ok with that outcome.
Still able to be the overly-positive manager! Because we really don't need more moaners in the game

Empty race, but once Appo left that was inevitable. Thanks for the reports.

Congrats Ollfardh! Thanks tsmoha for the reports!
Overall a great race for us, especially since it's not really our terrain. Sixth for De Haes is our highest GC position this season outside Úran iirc, and Marcos not far outside the top ten.

Congrats to Ollfardh, consistency winning out.
Not sure what happened to Cav on those last 2 stages, looks like the team couldn't protect him, he was so bad we were lucky to hang on to 3rd, especially considering what TMM had to put up with.
Can't complain about a good points haul from 3rd GC, 2nd points and 3rd team.
Thanks for the fantastic reports tsmoha.

Not much here for us. Was hoping for marginally more from the team but oh well.

Quite a decent outcome in the end for WCC here. 11th overall in GC for JAC after a 3rd on stage 4. Also a 2nd on s3 from the break for the team, and Harrison finishing up 2nd in the U25 comp after holding the lead for a couple of days, so not too shabby a points haul from this topsy-turvy race.
Important result for Lierse wrt relegation dogfight, congrats, although condolences to MG stalwart TMM on Nelson's last day collapse. Finally thanks to TSM for the reports.
