Well, that's what you get for picking a C1 race perfectly for Van Poppel, only to realise he doesn't have the required C1 race days. I could laugh with it, if only I hadn't done the exact same thing last season..
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Top9 in GC with Gatto, and 5th in KoM with Sola. Nothing further. Quite glad i didn't bring Moser here, although he might have won it easily

Stage win and Points Classification win for Smukulis + 2nd in one stage for Ahlstrand and 6th in U25 for Laas - this was good Cyan race

Peugeot 1 - 2 Jauregui Koretzky on stage 4
Petit also with some good sprints, shame the break ruined some of the fun.

Dominque Mayho rider of the year so far KoM victory to add to his stage win from Indonesia. The Bermudan massively out performaing all expectations of him so far, long may it continue!

Great win for our former rider Jan Bakelants and Veranclassic in Tropicale. Looks like the transfer to CT has worked well for him, PT races were many times just too competitive but Deutschland Tour has oftentimes shown that he is very much capable of bringing in some valuable points.

Next time I will try to not send our riders to Gabon. Exotic climate seems not working for our riders properly . |

No breakaways means two uneventful stages for us in the end to cap off a decent race for us. Just a shame Puccio never got any of those tasty bonus seconds.
Congrats to Veranclassic and thanks for the reports.

We are very happy, too. 5th in the GC in our first ever race, brilliant! However, it's a race I might not pick again, a little too dependent on luck, methinks. I believe very few of the 10 riders showcased by Bikex for this race actually made it into the top 10. And 17 riders never missed a beat, were always in the top group, Schorn managed that one 3rd place for the vital bonus seconds to end this high and I feel for those who weren't so well rewarded for their performance.
Since it's unmanaged I'll also mention the great results for ICBC so far. What a start to the season for the Asian team! Stage win in Indonesia and the points classification with Ji Min Jung. A stage win by Cahyadi, and the two third places by Mat Senan netted him a 2nd overall in La Tropicale. Wow!

Could somebody tell the team that doing something would be nice? I don't even think we joined a break and Howard doesn't seem to bother at all as well

Okay by Mohoric, but not enough. Especially with Kelderman, Bazhkou and Alaphilippe really failing here.

Puh, great stages for us. Nice to see Barguil redeem himself after his unfortunate time loss on stage 3 but this gave us enough to play it cool. Banantio to snatch a nice win here, and VDP definitely came into the spotlight as 3rd rider. All in all, the best start into the new season since the first season probably.

Disappointing Toowoomba, but what could be expected from a hilly race without Martin. Had a bit more hope in Jungels but our TTT squad still sucks.

Yeah not good in Oz but what can you expect? A decent Bingo, but sad to lose the podium and points jersey

EBH did well there, Kreuziger and Tsatevitch below expectations though.

Stage win and 2nd + 4th in U25 a decent result for the young squad I sent to Bongo.
Congrats to Veranclassic.
Australia was too lumpy for Matthews who managed 22nd in GC and one top 10.
Betancur going well for his new manager.
Thanks for the dizzying pace of race reports!
