We are sorry for the delay, we know many people are waiting for it. The (general) reason is that everyone working on the database is a volunteer. This work is definitely not the only responsibility we have in our lives and I would hope that it is not the number one priority for any of us. Therefore it often happens that we just don't have enough free time to devote to creating the db (and be sure that it takes a nontrivial amount of time).
However, even if the team is busy, much of the work can be done by the rest of the community as well, if people are up to help. Right now for example we are still missing jerseys for many teams, so if you want to bring the release date closer to the present, you can try to (learn how to create jerseys, if you don't know how it is done and) help with that.

It is just a expression, i know it is in begining and you dont have to remind me of that
I am a fan of cycling and im been waiting for the new db so long, and this makes me anxious to play the new season. |

Hi. I was just thinking that when u did a great and complex job in autumn with pcm database why in spring are not only stats of the riders and transfers updated? Wouldnt it be less time consuming? |

The thing is, many teams disbanded and new teams were added. All these new teams require new graphics, which seems to be the exact problem right now.

It's basically only graphics we need right now. Several teams don't even have jerseys or accessories and that's the biggest issue we're facing.

Do you have a guide to graphics? I could look into it, and see if I could get some jerseys done. I have worked in Photoshop and Paint.net earlier.
EDIT: Nevermind, found the guide on the forum.

Isn't it possible, just to grab the files from WorldDB ? They have (from what ive seen) all the 2017 jerseys & accessories. |

WT and PCT teams are not the problem, those are common to all DBs and graphics have mostly been completed for them.
CT teams are, there are graphics that haven't been made for several of them.

And that is the issue, for it not to be released?
Hmm.. Could it be a thing, to upload what you guys have now, and then later on, when the CT graphics are done, make an UPDATE version ?
In that way, we that usually only plays the WT & PCT teams, can get started with the awesome DB.
And later on, people who like the CT can download the update. |
