Sagan wins.
Think Oss would have won if it wasn't uphill.
Not a chance, Etixx would have closed him down easily. |

Sagan counters the Tinkov question and rather dedicates the win to Bodnar who crashed out
Honestly, listening to all his interviews. He has no idea what he is being asked. He just picks up a few words and says the same thing every time.
He had no idea what the Tinkov questions was about.
Not a knock on Peter as I love the guy, just stating what I see.

Is this not his 2. victory in this season? |

Friday's ITT location is moved to Santa Barbara because of snow at Big Bear.

Nice to know the race organisers managed to find a solution so the (ITT) stage could avoid cancellation, so chapeau to Santa Clarita for being open to organising a swift alternative. Looks like it is going to be a bit wet and windy at the Tour of California today as well, although a tailwind was already predicted for the final third of the journey to Santa Clarita anyway.
Last time (2013) the race finished in Santa Clarita the stage winner was Peter Sagan, can the Slovakian make it two in two? Although I think Cav got punished for holding on to a car or something at the race in 2013 as well.

And this is going to be a really dangerous sprint finish, hope they all manage to stay upright |

Every corner in these conditions must be a butt clench moment.

No stopping Mark Cavendish on these flatter finishes once again.

Zico Waetyens of Gaint Alpecin ruining Peter Sagan's streak of second places behind Mark Cavendish on the flatter sprint finishes. Good sprint by the Belgian to hold off Sagan, arguably went a bit too early to try and pip Cav to the line however.

Blimey, Matthew Goss was up there in eighth for MTN - Qhubeka apparently!

Unlike Farrar yesterday he couldn't make up that gap though.
