Good to see an interesting and selective stage. In a strange way I'm also relieved Konrad got overtaken in GC. Wouldn't want my team to get a 'lucky bastards' image.

Well, so it's O'Brien leading our team now Hours of race planning (in which George Bennett eventually got dropped off the roster) and O'Brien leads the team instead of Koren!
He does fairly well though. Koren dropping quite far down, but he has still the TT-advantage..

It is quite ridiculous to see Karpets lose so much time in a stage like this .. The two objectives that were still missing, just be impossible to achieve after this stage

Wow that is a lot of time lost. I was not expecting the gaps to be that big, especially since Efimkin still finished 10th on the day.

Nice entertaining stage and report!
Old man Popovych showing some fighting spirit to go from the bunch chasing the dangerous riders. 3rd place in GC is pretty far now, but Bibby and Uran were always bigger favourites, so we need to try and unsettle Cataldo and push him out of top3. That will be really hard, but he is much weaker TTist and we will try for sure. 4th would be nice anyway, so holding the top5 position is stil the biggest goal.

Huge stage for Popovych. Really well done there and Metinvest looking pretty good at the moment.
Bacardi on the other hand though is slowly going backwards in the ranking. |

Meh, seems to become a no-breakaway-no-special-GC thing for Oz. I don't expect our TTlers to win the timetrial later on, so maybe someone should try something here. Koren invisible, but at least somewhere around 30th on every stage.
Why not do a Gazelle and join a few breakaways?

Nope that is it Gazelle = lucky bastards... alongside Quickstep = lucky gits
But yeah Gazelle get in break again and when one of their guys gets in they usually make it pay. Been a nice enough race to follow here - that big mountain stage is looming large and you feel as if Uran could really hurt everyone if he really goes. That is what he should do anyhow!

That's a bit better, hoping we can carry on with more break attempts as they may be our only means of success here. |

I'm beginning to get worried. Uran didn't have any big time losses yet, but every stage ends up ending behind other favorites. If this keeps happening a few more stages, it probably won't end well.

Yeah, this is way to go Popo!
Much closer to the lead now and top4 seems pretty settled. What a fight from our ageing legend, to leave the younger lads behind in the dust. Now to survive next two stages where we are and be ready for conclusive TT+ mountain stage, where Uran ad Bibby will try to storm into the lead for sure.
Nice report Gustavovskiy!

Great to see Hoelgaard make a note of himself on that stage after picking the right move. No shame in admitting defeat for Skujins, hopefully Mresuperstar is happy as well
Thanks for nice reporting so far, Gustavovskiy! Looking forward to the conclusion, as it's still very tense considering the queen stage is still to come. |

Still annoying to see no Oz in breakaways, especially since we have no more serious GC-threat and no one inside the Top-15 neither. Just have to hope for O'Brien somehow finishing amongst 10-15th in the queen stage, but this will be tough for him.
Anyway, nice reports and pace, Gusta! Metinvest to finally save themselves from relegation, if Popo won't crash.

Great to see Warbesse in the break would have been nice for the group to get some time gaps but obviously not working well enough together |

Another anonymous stage for us, and not really many stages left to make up time. Its looking like this will be a bad tour, and I didn't bring a sprinter here either so its not looking good for the point totals.

Very happy, best result of the season for Hoelgaard. Obviously the stage win would have been cool, but there is no shame in take 2nd for the youngster.

Some bonus seconds would have been nice there. Probably lost a Bibby stage win to the breakaway too - but at least it was Skujins who won
