Nice handshake moment between Hasek and Mrazek after the Dominator's jersey retirement in Buffalo last night. Wings are stuck in an awkward situation because they know Mrazek is the future but are stuck with Howard's contract. Any team want a former Olympic goalie?

Mrazek is sure getting his chance with all our goalie injuries. He makes a lot of great saves and moves the puck as well as anyone, but lets in some really bad ones because of how aggressive he is.
Honestly it doesn't matter too much right now, when you are 3rd in the league for goals against

Heading out to Detroit in a few hours to see the two best teams in the Eastern Conference battle it out at the Joe (yes, I know Tampa Bay destroyed us... It was a fluke, Mrazek had a terrible game ).
Go Red Wings!

Technically yes. But the top five teams in the East are all separated by 2 points.
Well, be interesting to see how it shakes out by the end of the season.

Then there's the West where the Ducks are kings and the Canuks can make playoffs despite having less points than 4th place in the Central

I actually wouldn't mind seeing Winnipeg and Calgary get the Wild Card spots and leaving the defending champs out. It's been a while since those Canadian teams have made the postseason. Adds a bit more variety.
That and I'm just sick of the Kings casually making their way through the regular season, just to get into the playoffs and then win it all for a fan base that couldn't careless if they had a winning hockey team.

I would love to see Winnipeg make the playoffs. I cant imagine the atmosphere in the city, however not ahead of the Canucks. At the same time, if the Canucks miss the playoffs theres the potential to draft a future Top line player even into the 10-16 range and if Im being honest, the Canucks window is pretty much closed. The team is too old, the old players aren't good enough anymore and we dont really have a blue chip prospect apart from maybe Virtanen. We need a prospect that clearly has the potential to be a Top line center, like Barzal or Strome. We can find defenders deeper into the draft, just like we did with Forsling but forwards are always the hardest to find after the first 3 rounds, and one with top line potential even harder after the first round.

Evander Kane looking like he will be traded now. Same can be said for Kassian.

Becoming ever more impressed and hopefull for the Canuks. Great win last night against the Ducks that now puts them right into a strong run and on towards a great points tally. Still not thinking about a serious cup challenge but that hope really is starting bubble up now.

Still getting constantly more upbeatand positive about a really good playoffs showing from the Canucks. Great 3-1 win over the Kings tonight puts us back on track. Trying not to get too excited but the team is playing very well at just the right time.
I remember back a year to watching the Rangers in the MSG, will be one-year on Monday. Too long to go without doing something similar but really hopefull of watching a game next season actually in Canada...

Any of you Hocket fans been trying out the new EHM:EA release? Barely played it myself because of the screen resolution sizing issues making it tiny between giant black bars. Looks really good though, just waiting for a fix to the mentioned issue

Eastside Hockey Manager: Early Access
The people who make FM used to make EHM until 2007. Now they are back with a new one available via Steam. It's litterally FM, but for Hockey which is quite cool

Just saw it a few days ago, will definitely give it a try. Played FHM for a bit before, so hopefully I can wrap my head around this one

EHM:EA is good but with some time and work it will be great
Oh, and if Rangers win 1 of their last 3 they secure the Presidents Trophy
