Tour de San Luis Stage 1 Review
A fairly small break got away today, they were Bak, (Emirates) Willems, (Lotto) and Dillier (BMC)
Intermediate Sprint
Spoiler Dillier (BMC) 6 pts and 6 secs
Bak (Emirates) 4 pts and 4 secs
Willems (Lotto) 2 pts and 2 secs
Intermediate Sprint
Spoiler Dillier (BMC) 6 pts and 6 secs

Bak (Emirates) 2 pts and 2 secs
With 20km to go the gap to the breakaway was 1'06”, it looks like it will be a bunch sprint finish.
The break was reeled in with 16km to go, now it is time for the sprinters and their team to set up their lead out trains
The only lead out train to be made was an Androni train for Van Hummel, Reza was definitely in the mix for the win!
Van Hummel takes the win! Reza is an extremely close second. Very unlucky for him.

Tour de San Luis Stage 2 Preview
This stage is fairly up and down until we hit the final climb which is straight up. I think the stage will end with the GC contenders battling it out on the final climb. The stage is 170.4km long and starts in La Punta and ends in Mirador de los Potero de los Funes.
Today we are hoping to gain some time in the GC with Velits or Nerz, it depends on who has better legs.

Tour de San Luis Stage 2 Review
The break that went away at the beginning at the start of the stage consisted of four riders, they were Romero, (Colombia) de Bie, (Lotto) van Keirsbulck (Omega) and Conti (Lampre)
Mountain Sprint
Spoiler Van Keirsbulck (Omega) 6 pts
de Bie (Lotto) 4 pts
Romero (Colombia) 2 pts
Intermediate Sprint
Spoiler de Bie (Lotto) 6 pts and 6 secs
van Keirsbulck (Omega) 4 pts and 4 secs

van Keirsbulck (Omega) 4 pts and 4 secs
Romero (Colombia) 2 pts and 2 secs
With 20km to go the breakaway had a 2'21” gap down to the peleton, this is going to be very close!
With 5km to go Velits put in an attack and no one followed his wheel this looks promising!
With 2km to go, Battaglin bridged up to Velits. They were now at the front of the race since they had caught and passed the morning breakaway. Battaglin and Velits look like they are going to sprint it out!
Battaglin wins! Peter Kennaugh manages to bridge up to Velits and beats him in the sprint for second!

Velits put in a very strong performance today, it was a shame that Kennaugh overtook him on the finish. Also the there is a time trial which will definitely be in Velits' favour.

Tour de San Luis Stage 3 Preview
The stage is very up and down but does not have a long enough climb to start a GC show down. The most likely outcome will probably be a mass sprint in my opinion. The stage is 175.8km long and starts in Tilisarao and ends in Juana Koslay. TOday we hope that Reza can beat the rest of the field in a sprint, but we shall see!
