Teodosić indeed is the best PG that doesn't play in NBA. This is what he did last time:
Besides him, the star of this team, the guy that literally made American commentator start speaking Serbian several times and the guy that is one of the biggest prospects of European basketball (27th pick this draft for Phoenix, but believe me, that is one of the biggest steals on draft this year) - Bogdan Bogdanović. He won't directly go to NBA, as he's really young, so he signed 4 years contract with Fenerbahce with posibility to go to NBA at the end of each season.
Other than that, we have Raduljica who plays in NBA, Krstić who played in NBA and was one of the best Centers in Europe, but is past his best and that's pretty much all. Other guys are not that great as individuals and are really good as a team.

France is favourite in this match as well, but knowing what we did in last 2 rounds, I am more than sure that guys won't be afraid to attack once again. IDEMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
So this is the guy that confuses me for Bojan Bogdanovic, damn. And yes, there is the better statistical chance (as evidenced by the Spurs) to pick Europeans late in the draft instead of college prospect who may already have hit their ceilings. And one thing you know for sure about the Europeans is that they can shoot (otherwise they would have no business in the NBA :lol and have a great basketball IQ.
But Im afraid as of now that Croatia will be the best Eastern European team in a couple of years, although Serbia has impressed me. Dario Saric is a beast (taken in the lottery this year I think at 10th in a very deep class, won't play until next year) and Mario Hezonja is a wonder kid who I think declares for the draft next year. Too prospects with tremendous upside.
He's already better than Bojan, so no reason for confuse.
Indeed, those 2 guys, especially Saric, will be beasts, but I am afraid Croatia doesn't have a complete roster of good players. Not really sure those 2 will be able to handle all pressure on themselves as they're really young. Will be interesting to see what they can do in next couple of years, though.
46-32 on half time!!! God, this squad is supposed to be one of the worst ever in Serbian basketball history and we're most likely reaching the finals. Absolutely amazing. Teodosic special as always, Bogdanovic the magician, Braduljica the Monster. What else can I say? I am speechless.

Now I calmed down a bit, let's give an overview to this match.
Batum the star of this match. I... just... no words to describe him. Unreal.
Raduljica is a monster. Bogdanovic once again showing who's the most cold-blodded basketball player in Europe and scores when it's most important. Teodosic our best player tonight, by far. Bjelica too OP in all-around. All other guys, including Simonovic, Krstic, especially Markovic and the rest of squad played one great match and thanks to both sides for making me enjoy in one of the best basketball matches in years. France was amazing and it was one match full of fair-play and I really feel sad for them, but there was place for only one of those teams and luckily, it was us.
Prolly the moment that decided the match. MONSTERULJICA!

Big props for winning against Brazil and a France squad which beat up Spain, no one had seen that one coming. As as the commentators have said numerous times, this is more of a NCAA-setting where one bad match (like really bad on Spain's part) can prevent you from reaching the finals and Serbia took advantage of that, even though I am sure they would have put on a good fight against Spain and possibly won.
Just seen the stats and some highlights, Batum was unreal yesterday. He is a third scoring-guy on Trail Blazers and kinda of a glue guy, but everyone knows he really can light it up from deep which he did. Great performance on his part, but even more on Serbia's part. Even if they get routed by USA by +20, this is genuinely still a huge win for them.
Cant wait to the finals now. Would be unreal if Serbia won this.
A fun fact is that Serbia has no NBA players in this roster, considering that Raduljica got released by Bucks just few weeks ago and Bogdanović still isn't in NBA.

Yup, Kyrie Irving has definitely got the talent to be the best PG in the game. Of course we already knew that, but his handle and touch is incredible.

Well, the thing that everyone was most afraid of just happened. Americans are in love with athleticism and three's. This match is pretty much over already (I know it's too early, but I can't see us coming back really). Silver is an absolutely unbeliavable result for this squad, anyways.
Ok, is pretty much over. Spain is USA's only match and when France won, that meant that USA basically had the trophy. No disrespect to other team, but when Harden and Irving do their thing, there is simply nothing you can do. Unguardable when their shot is falling.
It's also Serbia's mistake. 1/7 for three so far is horrible and it was probably the only way we could win this, besides free throws. We used to have 5/8, 7/8 and 5/7 at this point past few matches, so that pretty much explains it.

The thing is, I simply can't enjoy it. Not because its a blowout, but because the refs simply just is destroying the game by blowing their whistle at any given opportunity. I think the NBA can learn something from FIBA rules (I love the no live ball timeouts which gives better flow of the game), but on the other hand, the refs should let the players play man. Its just disgusting. I honestly think I could do a better job.
Some of this rant is maybe partly because of I am watching on ESPN, but the commentators got it absolutely right. Fran Fraschilla even said that if he was Coach K in training he would ref it and make the most hilarious calls just to make the players used to the officiating.
