Did I see Atapuma riding on even though it said "Abandon"? |

This was a carbon copy of Tour de Suisse stage where Sagan attacks on the descent gets caught and Trentin wins. |

Meh, Talansky is not used to riding a sprint, that was without a doubt his mistake. |

Surprising to see Cancellara pacing Van Garderen over last climb and to finish, instead of forcing the BMC rider to do all work. When Trek have their own guys going for GC. Wonder what Zubeldia and Schleck have to say about that. |

Talansky hit the ground pretty hard, hope he's not hurt much.
Who crashed as well just before talansky? Couldn't see the replay.
Anyway, Sagan should have kept in the peloton on that climb, but that's easy to say after the stage is done. He tried at least, and he has now an huge advantage in the green jersey. |

Hope Talansky is fine. It was obviously his mistake, he was looking at right and going left. Cant allow yet another podium hopeful to abandon. |

Steering left? Yes it is partly his fault because he was veerign slightly left. But Gerrans still had a ton of space and swerved across his front wheel for no good reason.

Watch the finish again and wait 1-2 hours, then you will be good. |

You are the best general after the battle we have here. This could be the winning move and Sagan always tries to win. And still he almost got it. It is so easy to make fun of it, but it is stupid. Other way, he would be called wheelsucker

I've watch it 4 times. I know what I saw.
He made a wrong move and that contributed, no doubt. But Gerrans still had half the road and not much to the line. Instead of holding his line his swerved right and took Talansky out.
If he had been looking the right way would it have been different with the same result? It's just an excuse to blame him. Gerrans does ride sprints. He should know that isn't a proper move to make.

I guess the fact Sagan attacked on that just shows that he hasn't got confidence in his sprint anymore which proves my point that he lost speed. |

Nobody calls Sagan wheelsucker. But this attack was straight dumb. There're only several sprinters who can beat Sagan in flat stage, so why would he attack when it's clear that none of them is left in group. Another tactical mistake for him in my book. |

Yeah, his time should be corrected. Wonder how bad Talansky fell, does anyone know? |
