Very painful last stage to see Joseph dropping so much. A small gap on stage one + yellow jersey bonus could've made a huge difference
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Another race to add to the disappointment collection.
Great reports though, thanks.

I could start a museum of disappointment, and this would just be a side exhibit
Yeah it was a pretty poor race. Having Thomas used as a sprinter was the killer blow as it put him out of contention for anything before the start. Sparling was ok in a break but that is kind of the minimum expectation for the team so i can't get too excited about it

Very good TT by Westra! GC podium is a great result. Also Steegmans staying in the top 10 is well done. Think the 3 leader strategy for this race paid off.
Congrats to SN!

Yess! Great result for Bibby to take the GC His GC record last year was 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 3rd, 4th, 4th, 9th so it is brilliant to finally grab that elusive win. Race planning paid off!
Also really good to see Lagab in 7th. A good race for a select few teams here it seems - with Jaguar, Oz and Kazzinc picking up plenty of points and Gazelle too. A decent race for CT teams as well - stage win, 2nd in points and 12th in GC for Lierse, while Carlsberg take 9th in GC.

I had expected a cobbler to take this here.
But it`s also nice to see that gambling on a stage racer like Bibby paid off here for SN. Congrats. Great planning.
Even though it`s slightly disappointing to see cobblers being dropped while weak cobblers fight for the win. |

Well the race wasn't exactly how I had envisioned. But in the end our team got our first GC top 10! It's really a testament to how bad we've been, but nevertheless I am satisfied with it.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

First of all, thanks to those enjoying the reports
Second of all, I'm really not a fan of reporting Oz-races. Unfortunately, someone had to
Finally, i'm of course more than happy with the gamble of Koren bringing here paid off. Too bad Bibby got that crucial bonus seconds, would have been a huge win. The expected TT-win adds good points. A bit disappointing by Visconti in the TT though, given his stats. Del Nero showed himself, but his attacks went to nothing. This race definitely made up for Bobridge's rather bad Gisborne GP.
