That did look nasty, but i have to ask why wasn't the start gate removed from the track
it really looks nasty, but the start gate wasn't removed because they were going to restart (based on the fact that the brazilians pretty much stopped) I think that Aravena and his partner didn't hear it

Belkin seems to be going Dutch for this years TdF, meaning Nordhaugs once (relatively) secure place is now in jeopardy.
ProCycling reporst that the team will most likely consit of Robert Gesink, Bauke Mollema, Laurens Ten Dam, Lars Boom, Sep Vanmarcke, Tom Leezer, Maarten Wynants, Bram Tankink and Stef Clement.
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

I prefer Nordhaug more then most of those riders and Vanmarcke is belgian
I'm really hoping to see Nordhaug there, he has shown some pretty good performances these last few years and seems to be finding "himself". If he's in shape I have a small hope he might be allowed to go for a breakaway win on a suitable stage.

I hope not to see Gesink work as domestique for Mollema in the Tour for a stupid 5th or 6th gc place..
Do you think he will have his chances and he'll go for stages and polkadot jersey? These could be achievable goals
Well, Gesink got the opportunities to attack in 2013 as well. That didn't go too well.
I don't think Gesink is strong enough for the KoM, but who knows.
And don't underestimate what the TdF 2013(2nd and 5th in the GC for a few stages, sights on a podium for a longer time) does with a country like the Netherlands. Belkin got loads of publicity with that, at least here(It felt like basically the whole country was watching TdF at some point), so I think the team will be build around Mollema again.
