Is Ronde van Limburg the Belgian race or the Dutch race (Volta Limburg Classic)? |

It looks excellent so far. One thing that worried me though, when seeing the stats of Bissell, was that almost everyone was a fighter. Aren't you afraid this is going to stop some riders from developing correctly?

Can you please explain how Leukemans "deserves" 80 cobble? To have him only 4 points under Cancellara is preposterous in my opinion. The last time he even got a top 15 in a cobbled race was 2011.
Edit: I guess it isn't that unrealistic looking at the results of Ronde and Roubaix. But of course we don't even know if Want got wildcards to the other cobbled races. Is till think he is worse than say Chavanel at 78.

yep, i agree, these stats need some corrections but still great database
results of TdF are quite interesting though
f.e. sagan above richie porte or rui costa above nairo and purito in both TdF's
is it completely normal?

Leukemans has a low potential and will only become less good at cobblestones. If you want to change the stats, you can by editing our cdb file, but we think he is worth this value.

The look of your database, these promo videos, all of these minishirts, sponsors, stages is great. But c'mon guys, are you serious? These stats are... bad, very bad (in my honest opinion).

The last thirty teams that we've implented in the database are teams in which all the rider types are hand picked, my plan and my goal for the first update is to correctly value the rider types for the missing riders. Very well noticed. But I'm still working on it, since it needs a lot of my time to sort things out. Thanks for asking! |

No, i didn't. But i do have enough of PCM knowledge to know that this won't work well, at all.

If you never play with it, you can't know this. You will see it works better then you think.

Maybe, but i really, really doubt it.
Anyways, Leukemans on 80COB is just funny. I do understand that you guys are BeNeLux site (or whatever), but overpowering guy(s) from your region isn't really cool thing. Or am I wrong?

Let me explain it to you, cause I know why you're worried.
1. Leukemans is very old in this cycling peloton. Therefore I have given him a low potential, so his stats will decrease in the (very near) future. That's why I have given him 80, and not 78 for example (like I did with Chavanel), by the time Flanders and Roubaix will be ridden, I guess the Cobblestone stat will be around 78/79.
2. The cobblestone stat isn't 100% important. It is 50% important, the other 50% exist of the related stats (in Dutch we call it 'randstats'. They include FL, END, RES and REC. These stats will decrease faster than the so called 'big stats' like COB. Leukemans won't be as good in April as he is in Januari, which is like I would have liked it.
3. Chavanel can't really be compared with Leukemans. Chavanel needs a big hill stat (nearly the same as Leukemans), a big TT and PRO stat and more importantly he needs big big related stats. That's because he's never the best at for example climbing or riding the cobblestones. In every discipline I can name five riders that are way better than him. But the problem with Chavanel is that he has that pure fighting spirit, which you can find in his related stats.
4.
I think it would be better if some people wouldn't judge others by first impressions. Cause I've had to play with the daily database as well and there are lots and lots of faults in between the stats, especially concerning the smaller teams. But no one who gives stats does a perfect job, because people are subjective and love to see their favourite cyclists get the biggest stats. |

#3 also counts for Geraint Thomas, who is a great rider because of his toughness, not because of his brilliance. |

Can I download the race without having to download the entire database?
The race is close to where I live, that's why I'm so interested. |
