Think the stats are good...balanced team and everyone should be able to get a chance to shine but also provide good help as domestiques when required to do so..
But as you asked for feedback...could I have 2 taken off Prologue and 2 off Cobble (not interested in them to much to start with) and add them to the following:
Mountain 2
TT 1
Fight 1

Great work, the only thing i suggest you to do is to put 70 in FL to the cobblestone specialist (and maybe to Josè ), i think it's very important having a good value in flat in addition to the cobbles one. |

I like those stats, but we`ve so many climbers it`ll be hard to choose a leader for some races.

Especially TTist(who can't win anywhere on a normal road stage) can barely improve in anything else than TT at this moment. And yes, my rider is a TTist, I'm subjective here.
Not sure how to implement it though.
TTists/flat riders could develop if a sprinter wins, by working in the train/leadout, weaker climbers if a climber wins, that could work fine?
Every 2nd/3rd win +1 on random primary stat, or random in general.

I'm happy with my stats, maybe you could up the TT by 1 or 2 though, i think 56 is just a bit too awful

First of all i like the idea, but i see too many monsters coming out of this team:
e.g. Manuel Calle:
If he goes on a 150 km solo attack on the first race he goes to and wins at least one intermediate sprint and one mountain sprint he could get:
-ride 1 race: +1 FL +1 STA
-breakaway: +1 SP +1 FIG
-win one intermediate sprint: +1 SP
-win one mountain sprint: +1 MO
-25 km solo + 1 FL + 3 PR + 1 RES
-50 km solo + 1 FL + 1 TT + 1 STA + 1 RES
-75 km solo + 1 FL + 1 TT + 1 STA
-100 km solo + 2 FL + 1 TT + 2 STA
-150 km solo + 3 FL + 2 TT + 1 STA + 2 RES
getting him a total after one stage/race:
+ 9 FL making him 81 FL
+ 1 MO making him 69 MO
+ 5 TT making him 78 TT
+ 3 PR making him 76 PR
+ 2 SP making him 60 SP
+ 1 FIG making him 60 FIG
+ 6 STA making him 76 STA
+ 4 RES making him 76 RES
This would turn him into a flat monster which would made him a real TT contender in pro tour and getting him easily stage wins at a lower level.
And after the first season he would be even better as he probably raced 50 races (+1 FL), finished one season (+2 FL/RES/REC +1 everything else), won 5 TT races (+4 TT, +5 PR), won 1 (TT-heavy) stage race (+1 Fl,MO,HI,RES,REC) and relaying 10x for 50+ km (+3 FL + 1 STA).
Making him
87 FL
71 MO
69 HI
83 TT
81 PR
61 SP
61 ACC
62 COB
68 DH
61 FG
78 STA
79 RES
71 REC
Seeing this I think you could get too fast too good. And you could easily get up to 85 (or higher ) in your best stat after 1,5 years. But it is up to you. I don't care if you dont change anything.
Just tell me if I understood something wrong... |

Yes, maybe the 'solo' achievement should be removed, or just as 1 achievement 'solo'

That. And maybe less achievements in total or just half the points per achievement. Two 0.5 stat points are added to one point so that the maximum stat is at 85 not 100 (at Manuel Calle: 72 FL + the chance to get 28 FL added through achievements = 100 FL) |

Well, but the chance that he completes all the FL achievements equals zero. Especially since he's not a FTR and won't attack a lot. But I get what you mean.
Maybe more achievements, but with half points as well.
It's all up to Ian, I'm sure he finds a solution
I just hope that being a good domestique will be rewarded as well

Thank you all for your feedback.
Only one achievement per solo, so if you go on a 150km break, you only get the +150 solo achievement, not for 50 km. This way you'd need to get in many solo breaks to get all those bonuses. And getting a solo break is not that easy in the game.
I realize some riders can become monsters, but it's hard to find a balance. The other way around is no fun either (riders too weak to do anything). This is why you can leave for WT teams after 1 season and I'd still track the rider.
I can also adjust the game during the season if I see they grow too fast.
Concerning domestiques not getting a chance to grow, there's no problem (I think). I removed the "talent" thing and will make sure everyone will have a chance to grow. I know TT is hard to improve, but that is why I made their starting stats higher. With 74 TT it's easy to win a TT. If you take some solo breaks with it, you can easily become a strong TTist.
Concerning your personal stat adjustments. I'm sorry to say, but I won't take specific requests. (Well, I'll look at them, but not necessarily adjust them), because you have total control about his development, so if you think MO is too low, no problem, work on it

Thanks Ian
But actually, I meant that for TTists, it's hard to develop other stats. Especially the ones that aren't attackers. Same for climbers working on their sprint, sprinters on cobbles etc.
But it's okay, as you said you can train on them as well. Though that'll be very slow, I think

You have a point. Though it's still possible, but just harder.
Problem is I should have different achievements per type of rider, but that's just too much work. I admit I don't have the energy to start working on that. I'll just try to start this, and we'll see how it goes. Don't forget the final achievements. If the team accomplishes 5 goals, every rider can appoint their own chosen stats to develop in. |

I've changed some development things. Nothing much, but there are secret achievements. Being a good team mate will be rewarded, mark my words
Solo's are out.
If you win a race solo (I forgot that), your reward will depend on the terrain.

Looks good!
Wonder what the secret achievements are
TT looks hardest to improve, but my rider will just win every TT, and it'll be allright
Can't wait for the start!

Sutty has joined!
Telefonica - Portugal Telecom
Rider Information (we don't have information available for every rider)
Carlos Moreno Lopez: Nairo Quintana's best friend at school, and rode to school with him. Wants to follow in the footsteps of the Movistar leader, and become a superstar in the sport.
Jaxi Zoli: Former junior cyclocross champion.
Manuel Calle: Just a beast. He's pretty modest, but still, wants to win the Worlds ITT later, if possible. Lives for cycling. Isn't great with the media. Loves winning, but with his specialty, that isn't necessarily easy. Speaks multiple languages and is always polite and correct.
Jorge Garcia Martinez: A Spanish cyclist who did not like the mountains. Instead, he went fast on the flat roads. His dream was not being a cyclist, but being a sprinter in a cycling team
José Gomez: Very charismatic and playful, is a true leader but also sacrifices for his teammates. Always fight to win and at the Tour de l'Avenir he has shown it attacking until he was able to move back on the breakaway. At the end he won the stage.
Imanol Zuñiga RodrÃguez: This rider always used to ride for some Basque lower teams, but with the financial crisis, he had to leave those. He is known throughout the country for his immense fighting spirit
Joan Navarro Lora: Former winner of a mountain stage in Tour de l'Avenir.
Helder Lourenco da Costa: Brought up by an Angolan father and a portuguese mother in Angola, Helder learned to ride his bike as a tool. A tool he needed to go to school and to the market. Often biking several kilometres a day, Helder developed a strong physique and great stamina. When his father died, his mother and him moved back to Portugal, where Helder took his bike riding to a new level by joining club.
Fabio Mendes: He loves every TT, most of his time he trained alone, he was scared to ride in bigger groups, so he pracitipated mainly in amateur TTs. That will be his first season in a professional team, his fauvorite rider is Tony Martin, his dream is to become the World TT Champion.
Joe "You can leave your" Hatton: Joe Hatton is a natural athlete, having been a long distance runner for England at Junior level and then a semi-professional footballer he has now turned to cycling following his sudden interest in the sport. With very little experience behind him some may wonder how he will cope but the natural talent he possesses is there for all to see especially his incredible engine!
Filippe Castillo: He is a neo-pro who loves climbing but is also pretty good in downhilling, his dream is to win 1 of the big tours
José Perez: Born and raised in the small town Osor, near the MassÃs del Montseny, Jose cycled to and from school every day. One Day someone tipped him about a shortcut he could take, but wich would probably be too step to cycle up. He gave it as much as he could and managed it. That Day taught him two lessons: 1. He loved sprinting up climbs. 2. There was a way he could sleep for 5 more minutes every morning. As soon as he was old enogh, he went on daytrips to the nearby Pyrenees mountains and joined a local team. He started to participate in races and won nearly all the races he rode that involved steep climbs but learnt that he hated timetrials. In the 2012 Spanish U-21's Championship he broke away on the last climb and held the gap until just short of the finish line, still finishing 8th.
Jesus GarcÃa-RamÃrez: Whilst many Spaniards grew up idolising Indurain and Freire, GarcÃa-RamÃrez just could not get enough of the cobbled classics and riders like Flecha and Cancellara. Lives for Paris - Roubaix and RvV, Jesus is ready to break the Professional scene after dominating the amateur races for the past 2/3 years.
Rui Castelo: Lots of amateur races with some good results( but no win yet), still looks for his first ever win... he had to ride his bike every day to go buy milk for his young brothers, 19kms of hilly roads and some mountains... he loves heat weather,... this will be his first serious team ever...
Keno Ritja: The guy grew up Lisbon. Started cycling because of Rui Costa, now he's considered as the next Rui Costa. Maybe as an even bigger talent than him also |
