How can you compare accidently causing a crash (Greipel) to purposely ruining the race for another rider (Mollema/Belkin)?
Yep, causing a crash is far worse.

Ask Leipheimer.

Give me one reason why. It isnt me, in comparsion to your fellow dutchie over there, who has cried for several years about how unlucky and how teams have taken advantages of his preferred riders' crashed and so on. Now, on the other hand, its completely legitimate that 1 team (Yes, Belkin) completely destroy one man's GC (and no, i dont care if he is doped or not - fact is, they ruined 8 months of preparation).
So if someone have a flat tire, they always have to wait? Come on... Belkin was already riding(they actually had a deal with OPQS), so why should they stop when someone has a flat tire. I don't think anyone would stop when climbing the Alpe D'Huez when you competitor has a flat tire...
I'd guess we have had this discussion roughly 10-20 times on the forum. I can see the argument, but what you forget is there were a significant difference between the workload from Belkin before compared to after the bike-change. That's were my problem is. And I dont really think you can compare the 2 situations to each other, really
But lets agree to disagree on the part |

Why are Contador, Valverde and co. suddenly regarded as saints again? Is it because Sky is dominating this sport now? A lot of people claim Sky ruins the race because they're doped. So what about Contador and Valverde, then? |

Ask Leipheimer.
Not to discuss the other shit Valverde has pulled in the past (and never admitting he did anything wrong which is the worst part). He deserves no sympathy really
(and before pulling the Dekker card, he actually admitted EVERYTHING now)

It also seems like you do hate Valverde quite alot based on the post you wrote on the echelons-day (you basically said it was his own fault cause of he is/was doped)..
On your point Willier, I think you are right. 2 years ago, the frenchies hated Contador, but since Sky has dominated the race for 2 years, Contador is now more or less a saint which I think is pretty humanly. I don't think it necessarily it fair towards Froome (as Contador, Valverde and others have been implicated in some doping cases), but that's a normal reaction which I share. When Contador was superior, I didn't like him either |

Nah, why would i hate Quick-Step? It was legimate that they were pulling in contrary to Belkin who just happened to immediately fly to the front when Valverde changed his bike. That combined with the fact that I never have liked Rabobank since Michael Rasmussen was thrown out (despite they knew that he was doping, but acted well into the race when he was winning..) and you barely cant find any more boring riders than Ten Dam and Mollema. All these things combined makes me more or less hate Belkin (or at least hope that they dont do well, especially since i have been a Valv-fan since Couchevel and he almost never have had the opportunity to show his true potential in the Tour). So i guess I'm a very bitter, and as Valverde, I dont think i just would let it go...
I know i can sound fanatic, but that's just how I feel about it
Makes sense that you don't like Mollema or Ten Dam for being "boring", but you like Valverde, who is always attacking and stuff

Don't blame yourself. This is a public forum. It's a place for discussion. (though I think it would be better if this discussion would move to another thread). |

I'm going to stick my neck out and say that Cuddles will be in the break tomorrow
I sense he's been hanging back a bit so he can be given license to go for the stage win, though I doubt that will happen.

And then allow me to stick my neck out and say that he won't have the legs to get into the break. |

You need to comment at everything I write you, dont you?
As I also - dunno whether you read it or not.... - wrote, I dont like Belkin for several reasons. Also, I find Valverde a liiiitle bit less boring than Ten Dam and Mollema, but I guess that's rather subjective

How about Cadel on a break for tomorrow. They tried with TVG today after he had been looking much worse than Evans and Evans tanked the TT and today. |

Evans didn't tank the TT, he's sick
the illness is 'old man disease' and can't be recovered from

Well I don't think that one of the effects of old man's disease is getting beaten in a Mountain TT by Mark Cavendish.

I hope that Gesink or Poels attack today! Hopefully in a break that stays till the end. But knowing the peloton, it will be tough...

I want to see Puncheurs take this out, maybe a Gilbert and Rodriguez win. Oh if Gilbert will leave his old mate Evans behind?
