Top 5 at the sprint are:
Greipel
Cavendish
Kristoff
Sagan
Steegmans
Cav was catching Greipel but came up a little short, surprised not to see Kittel up there.
Why? He of all the big sprinters here stands almost zero chance of points jersey, he's better off saving himself completely for the finale and trying to get a stage win.

Not to mention that on a World Tour points basis Argos-Shimano gain nothing from targeting the Green Jersey. So assuming they are fighting to keep their World Tour status they will be targeting wins, considering a high enough overall result would seem unlikely.
Working on the preview for Stage 7 at the moment if no one else had plans to write one. |

Purito was caught up in a crash at the rear apparently, but is back in the peloton and ok. |

He still has Jani to help in the mouintains and I don't really think a strong team is important for a top 10. |

Cyclingnews' ticker refers to Sylvain Chavanel as the Andres Iniesta-style playmaker for Omega Pharma-Quick Step. What a great comparison. |

So the break reeled in super early? That justifies my choice to go out and get drunk instead.

Sooo... King, VdB, Kessiakoff, Bouhanni and two more?
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

Not sure if reeled in or gave up is more accurate description, thinking the later. Do not think Angel Mate was looking forwards to riding the stage alone out front.
Edit #1: Sagan and Cannondale going to have fun getting to the front of the peloton after having to work their way back through the cars after encountering some issues.

I have each way bets on Greipel (£20), Sagan(£2.50) and Boasson Hagen (£2.00) to the finish in the top 3, I know one of them will miss out as Cav will be there.
