Read an interview with Cancellara today, funny thing he said something like: "Bakelants' selection for the Tour surprised me. When he won the stage and won yellow, I laughed because he talked so much".
- Hold the phone, Cancellara thought it was funny Bakelants talks so much? Mr. Bullshitter is the one to speak |

Finally. No point in Wiggins even trying after Cancellara set a new record
Also good that Sosenka will no longer keep the record
One doper passing it to other, cant see why one of them should be better...

People are so big hypocrits... Everybody who wins a lot is a doper. It was like that in past, at present, and it will be like that in the future as well...

Dude, don't go down that path.
Hardly hypocritical to accuse obvious dopers like Luigi.

Even if that were true, we still wouldn't be anywhere near as hypocritical as Jens Voigt.
Oh how I'll laugh when he finally gets nailed and has to be confronted with his constant statements about being clean and never having seen any doping in 17 years of riding for the most crooked teams in the sport

On a completely unrelated note, Vandenbroeck's injury is apparently worse than first thought. He will have surgery next week, and is out at least 8 weeks.
All but confirmed to miss the Vuelta, and might in fact not race at all again this season.

Yeah, he is a doper as are Schlecks or was Team CSC with Basso, Sastre or O'Grady, that's for sure, even I was and I am still a fan of them, that's completely irrelevant in this case.
But the thing which always amaze me is how people still believe that there is a chance that riders from the best teams are clean. It was always the same and still it is. Mapei/Quick Step, Rabobank, ONCE/Astana, Telekom/HTC, Banesto/Movistar, Kelme/Comunidad Valenciana, Fassa Boltoro/Milram, US Postal/RadioShack, CSC/Saxo, Lotto, Cofidis, Coast/Bianchi, Saeco, Lampre, Phonak/BMC, Unibet/Vacansoleil, Gerolsteiner, Saunier Duval/Geox, Liquigas/Cannondale, FDJ. All these teams had big doping scandals or if not, riders which are clearly highly likely unproved dopers raced for them. Now there are new big teams like Katusha, Sky, Garmin or Orica. How big are chances these big teams with their stars of today are clean if they are competing against majority of teams with clear doping past?

Fair point but a team taking drugs in the past does't neccessarily mean that are going to take drugs now. Then again, it also doesn't mean that they arent still taking them... |

I really don't believe riders like Bradley McGee or Baden Cooke were clean in their careers. No big scandals for FDJ thankfully.

Well Sosenka was clear case, same with Luigi. I was naive for long enough, i was cheering live for dopers since 1994 Tour. Then i was sad a lot.
Edit: Now i get what you meant.

He could be thinking about the pre-Festina days, but I'd be hard pressed calling that a scandal considering the era. |

Radioshack-Leopard sent a statement essentially saying that the Schlecks are once again full of shit. They had several meetings with Frank during the year and made it very clear it was very unlikely he would stay.
Of course, now he says he's shocked.

Don't think this is mentioned yet: Jan Polanc will be a stagaire at Lampre from August

Polanc was signed by Lampre last season, but he did something like loaned to Ravenska. |
