I'm hoping for Lobato to take the polkadot jersey as I have him on some of my manager teams I expect him to be the fastest in the group, but I have no idea how hard the climb is. I suppose Boom is the strongest.
1,1 km at 5,9%
Not hard enough for attacks to do much damage. It'll be a sprint to the line.

Wtf thought harmon was doing the tour ,it's that idiot Kirby
Yeah so did I. Harmon has had some personal issues lately (battling Depression) so may not feel up to it. But I wouldn't be surprised if Harmon comes in later, once we get closer to the finish. Commentating for 5-6 hours straight for three weeks would be relaly hard on the vocal chords.
He initially planned to do the Tour, even tweeting last month about looking forward to it, however it looks as if he's not up to it.
Shame, but Kirby has been getting a lot better recently, I'm quite happy with him now. (But I'd take Harmon any day)
Yeah I just went through a number of twitter threads and it looks like he isn't up to it. It is a shame and I hope he gets well soon.
I'll be sticking with Eurosport until the Australian coverage starts in just over an hour. Then it is time for my annual game of how-many-times-will-Phil-and-Paul-make-me-swear-at-the-TV?

I played the first stage with the Daily Realname DB last night, let's see if PCM13 is a good crystal ball at the results

I'm just happy that Boom the brat didn't get it.
Euskaltel success is always a positive thing.

Was it just me or was Cousin close to push that Euskaltel rider into the boards. |

Most of them, actually.
I just can't stand self-centered jackasses like A. Schleck and Wiggins. Boom belongs in that category as well, though he's not as bad as the other two.

Oh dear god Kirby... "Cavendish isn't a bad time trialist. He also suffers a bit on the high stuff, not as much as other sprinters..."
Why?

Maybe if you're colour-blind, Europcar's dark green and Cofidis red look the same... A bit... I mean from a distance... A long distance... Oh well...
I haven't turned the TV on yet. Since they've fired Jalabert (erm, he resigned), I think it's only going to get worst. |
