Very nice race again, with Sagan deserving the win. But why oh why did Daniel Martin lead the peloton for more than 20 kilometres halfway the course, why??

According to an interview I read after he originally pinched her ass, her heart is already in somebody's pocket.

Bad sprint by Gilbert, I (with my limited knowledge on race tactics ) think. He was in a fine position in Sagan's wheel, but went early, allowing Sagan to get on his wheel and simply overtake him with a few metres to go.
I haven't seen pictures, but from what you tell, it's rider A or rider B's wheel, with B being a better sprinter than A.
Assuming A is almost certain to overtake B if he launches his sprint first, but stands no chance in the opposite case, then the only possible tactic for A, if he can't avoid a sprint, is to launch as late possible, but the longest he waits, the most likely B is to be the sprint launcher.
Completely forgot to watch the race. Seems like I missed something good.
Really surprised to see Gilbert that strong. Sagan looks unbeatable for Amstel, but Phil might be more of a contender than I expected him to be. Geschke also comes up as a possible outsider for Amstel.
Forgot about the race, studied Math's instead. Great race it seemed, Sagan is the main candidate for Amstel, Gilbert looks good and Leukemans surprises. Good.
Thanks for the highlights there CT, saves me from searching through YouTube.
Really nice finish BMC getting it together with Omega Pharma here attacking Sagan pretty hard. Looked tight in the sprint, Gilbert is usually a long sprinter so made sense for him to go early but against Sagan it looked suicide.
Nice appetiser for Amstal and the Ardennes though.
Gilbert says that he's confident for "Amstel and Liège", so apparently he doesn't see himself as a favorite for La Fleche Wallonne.
Just give the flowers to Purito already.
