It seemed to be a problem on the end of the person uploading it but all good now.

Chavanel bridges to the leading group and looks keen to push things on from there.

Egoitz Garcia Etxegibel is the Cofidis guy in the Roellandts group, one of my favourite riders. Hadn't expect him here

Who decided that Cofidis should wear those yellow helmets? They should be banned from all races now. Damn.

Wow huge effort from the BMC rider there. I presume that was Van Avermaet bringing that small group up? Trying to piece things together from the stream and what I can read on twitter.

It was Van Avermaet. That group will fight for the win, peloton far behind.
1'40 behind.

According to https://live.cyclingnews.com/, the first group consists of Fouchard and Sijmens (COF), Chavanel (OPQ), Cousin (EUC), Bandiera (IAM),Van Hecke (TSV), Thomas (SKY), Boom (Blanco) and Van Avermaet (BMC) with Chavanel having a 20 seconds lead.
edit: the list is not entirely accurate it seems

Great to see Vandousselaere (Topsport) in there. He could be a bit of a dark horse, given that the others aren't likely to know him too well. But he has a good kick on him and if others mark each other out then he could get the opportunity to put in an attack. He is normally a super aggressive rider so I wouldn't be surprised if he goes for it early.
EDIT: Might have been an incorrect graphic.

Van Avermaet attacked and is closing in on Chavanel. Paolini follows, with Vandenbergh.

That feels like watching an amateur race, or a race for national teams, with helmets not fitting the colours of the kit.
Off with their heads if they don't remove those helmets.
What's up with Guimard's voice, btw. ? Been watching The Godfather too much ?

Orica trying to organise something behind but the gap is still going up so it is as good as decided.

Yup, they're way too late, the peloton is done.

Vandenbergh and Paolini make a gap, the rest can't keep up.
