I have really slow connection over here, and want to kill pre-going-outside-at-night time, on vacation.

NBA live 14 or NBA 2k14 to ps4 when it comes out?
Haven´t play any NBA games since early 2000´s, but tried 2k14 demo on ps3 and thought it was nice.
NBA k has been better on the laters years even before live stopped?
Anyone have any idea/thoughts about this? |

NBA Live? That's back?
I've had quite a lot of NBA games,a nd I can fairly say that I will not be getting another one. I already have:
Gamecube: NBA Live 2002, NBA Live 2003, NBA Courstide 2002, NBA 2K2 (don't ask me why I got 3 for the same year), NBA Live 06
Wii: NBA Live 08, NBA 2K10, NBA 2K11
PC: NBA Live 08, NBA 2K12
I think that is enough. I wanted NHL 14 either on PC, Wii U, or PS4, but it's not on them.
I would suggest MLB 2K of MLB The Show but I know not many people are interested in baseball here. But I love it. (hehe)

Hehe, I still play MLB 2K6, the interface still seems very modern to me.

Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

I had that for the Gamecube, but rarely played it over MVP Baseball 2005.

NBA 2k14 is fantastic Viking, i can only recommend that, all the sports games should learn from that, both gameplay and presentation wise. But one needs some kind of basketball knowledge and fast fingers, this year it is pretty hard to get rid of defenders at the perimeter. But i love it, currently rolling with Pistons.
PS4 will have next gen version, now the old-gen is out for 360,PS3,PC (where i play it).
But it is hard to find some time to play NBA2k14, since i am stucked completly at Europa Universalis 4,best strategy game ever, i absolutely love it. And there is my "new" PS3 and Red dead redemption, dont know what to play now.

Just finished (re)playing Red Dead a couple of weeks ago, as an "appetizer" for GTA.
Simply loving it and even though your mentioned games provide tough competition, i would stick to John Marston

I absolutely love RDR and i just have played first two hours or so yesterday, after i bought PS3 for a few coins from my friend, who was not interested in it anymore. Riding through the moonlight New Austin and listening to western music, it feels so great. Cant wait to get home and play it some more.
Of course i had some problems with controlling a thing,as the game controller noob, but i am learning fast. Shooting coyotes from horse back as the dualshock beginner was almost my death.

Microsoft Flight is good if you don't want something hardcore:
https://www.micros...es/flight/
Other than that it seems like Flight Gear is a better pure hardcore simulator:

For all, who liked games like Gothic, Skyrim, Witcher etc.
Steam has a special offer today:
Witcher 1: Enhanced Editon: Directors Cut - 1,59€
Witcher 2: Enhanced Editor - 3,99€
-80% each
I used to like games like those some years ago. But never really tried those two a lot but only heard good things about those.

Banished! The best citybuilding game since SimCity for SNES (and other platforms)! I highly recommend it!

I got the last HumbleBundle, I've been playing Guacamelee and it's really cool. I also played the alpha of Heart&Slash that looks really really really cool, It's quite tricky but its definitely addictive .
And a game I'm looking forward but it's still long time to wait Kingdom Come: Deliverance that was reacently on kickstarter

Okay so I got this game on steam, and it looks and plays great, I will certainly give it that, but it is a sandbox game, and once you figure it what works, it becomes far less. That said, get ready to lose many people before you figure out what works.

So I thoroughly enjoyed South Park: Stick of Truth. It has pretty much a perfect length. If it'd be longer it'd get dull but in the manner it presents itself it combines fantastic ideas, great stories and quests and some simple but suprisingly fun (and at times even a bit deep) gameplay. Basically it's a very long South Park episode, and one that is very, very entertaining... so yes, it's the thing everybody wanted it to be I guess.
