Mark Cavendish leaves BelarusBank.
The Manxman has left the team with the citing wage demands as the reason. "Cav simply demanded wages we could not afford, after our recent relegation."
"We are gutted to see him the leave the team but we are confident we can add to the quality we still have for the coming season."

The first big casualty of renewals! Very interesting, especially since we are in the market for a sprinter.
I guess that frees up a load of cap space for you, so it isn't all bad. |

We here at Eddie Stobart need a top sprinter but unfortunately we may be priced out of a move for Cavendish |

I'm gutted to see him go, but now we can build a more all round team and still have some good sprinters capable of winning races at CT level.

Today BelarusBank Pro Cycling can show the jersey that the team will ride in this season's Continental division. There have been significant changes from last season's jersey. Green has become the vocal colour. We also have a new sponsor, Raleigh bikes which we hope will be the start of a successful partnership.
Finally we would like to thank The_Hoyle for designing the jersey and we would like to thank him for offering to do it and for the time he has spent making this jersey.

WE are delighted to present the National Champions jersey that Andrei Sakalou will be wearing this season.
One again thanks to the_hoyle for designing and making the jersey, it looks amazing.

Wow, I love how he flag is fading out into Belarusbank in cyrillic. Very happy to see Sakalou in his native countries national jersey. Good luck this season, hopefully it will be good for us both! |

BelarusBank have endured a quiet start to the season. Represented in at Continental level after relegation from Pro Continental, they currently sit mid table. Cobbler Jan Polanc has suffered on his favoured decipline, as to be expected considering he has zero support. De Panne highlighted just how out of sorts he is. Ochoa Quintero hasn't been living up to the bill so far. Failing to get a poduim at San Luis was a major dissapointment.
Daniel Thorsen has popped up with at least a stage win in the Middle East, he has a formidable train to release him. Kankovsky has been a key for Thorsen as proven in the Tour of America last season. The loss of Cavendish has mean't the other sprinters have had to step up to the plate. Thorsen seems to have done that. The teams how race didn't go as planned and the sponsors have shown their displeasure at the performance at the Zimnyanya GP.

Belarusbank Pro Cycling have been on a steadily decline since being a surprise inclusion in the Pro Continental division last season. The recent relegation has affected the team hard and now they have dropped to 20th in the Continental division. Of course the Belarussian outfit were once apart of their current division under the old sponsor of Credexbank, but no one envisaged a return to those days. "This was mean't to be a period of steadily progression back towards the PCT." DS Ste said.
It has been far from the case with the team struggling in more than half of its races this season. Richard Ochoa Quintero has let his team down massively with his recent performance and will have a lot of explaining to do. On the sprinting front, it has been same old, same old with the team knocking up a few victories and top 10 placings but it is the failure of Quintero that will grab the headlines at the end of the season. "We expected more from our Colombian climber and he has failed to deliver. We feel he has had the support around him but his performance and lack of positioning in the recent race in America is comical."
"Who knows where the team will be next season and who will be riding for the team, we don't even know if the team will be here next season."
"Every rider is literally riding for their future in the remaining half of the season, no one is safe from the chop at the end of the season."
It seems that if the team does enter its fourth year, they are willing to replace all riders currently racing for the team.
What does the future hold, who knows.....

Disband
It is with great sadness that I have to inform you all that BelarusBank is to be no more. I have opted to drop out of the man game because I can no longer keep pace with it and have some other issues going on that need to come first. I have enjoyed my time taking part in this fantastic well run game and I would like to thank SN and everyone who helps out to get this game running. I would also like to thank every member involved who have stopped my team rising up through the divisions haha jokes , no for making this game fun and competitive. Hopefully one day I will be back involved with the man game but best of luck for everyone for next season.

I'm okay just mental health issues, uni and full time work at the minute, it was a hard choice to make leaving the MG as I really enjoyed my time being involved but I was just struggling to be as active as I was at the start of the season and thought its best to give someone else a chance and a go at experiencing this. Of course I will on hand to help out whenever I am needed. I hope to be back in the future though.
