Alberto CONTADOR SAX 20
Christopher FROOME SKY 18
David MONCOUTIE COF 8
Joaquím RODRÍGUEZ KAT 18
Ben SWIFT MOV 8
Andrew TALANSKY GRM 6
Jonathan CASTROVIEJO MOV 6
Elia VIVIANI LIQ 4
Nicolas ROCHE ALM 8
he thought proccess here is that I feel I have 1-2-3 in GC. froome, Rodriguez and Contadope should al have stage wins as well. I think that Rodriguez will get points too.
I picked Moncoutie as my second climber because it's his final Vuelta. For this reason he will attack like crazy, maybe get a stage win and take home KOM.
Ben Swift may be the best sprinter here (not sure of Rojas's form) and is a bargain for 8 points. My other sprinter being Viviani, a cheap 4 points.
I'm looking for Talansky to surprise for a top ten. Nothing else really.
Castroviejo is my cheap wildcard for the TT and attacking.
Finally Nico Roche is my final pick. I hope to see him attack and maybe top ten here as a surprise.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

My team is composed by 3 GC riders (Contador, Purito and Froomey), where I put all my hopes. If one of them fails, then I'm screwed.
The rest of the team are basically young riders I'm looking forward to see, like Quintana or Talansky. Not sure how they will do here, but hope to see them well and score points. Then, 4 sprinters (Degenkolb, Swift, Viviani and Bouhanni) should give me nice points in the flat stages with such a weak field. Not aiming for a good result, but hope to be in the top-60/50 in the final. Yeah, I'm not really ambicious or positive. It's the first time I chose a team with young riders I like, so hope this wasn't a bad idea!

Pretty much my thoughts as well, just switch Swift and Quintana with Geniez and Anton.
As much faith I have in Quintana, I don't want to be negatively affected twice if he fails
And I think with this composition, you can easily get the Top 4 of any flat or mountain stage completely right if everything works out, so I really hope for a good overall.

Doesn't really matter how many points you got from the TTT. It's nothing compared to the other stages anyway.

So here is my team:
| Alberto CONTADOR | SAX | 24 | | Christopher FROOME | SKY | 18 | | David MONCOUTIE | COF | 8 | | Joaquím RODRÍGUEZ | KAT | 18 | | John DEGENKOLB | ARG | 8 | | Alexandre GENIEZ | ARG | 4 | | Nacer BOUHANNI | FDJ | 4 | | Andrew TALANSKY | GRM | 6 | | Nairo QUINTANA | MOV | 10 |
Contador, Froome and Rodriguez on the team to lead the point-grabbing with Quintana, Geniez and Talansky all as people who could potentially do fairly either in individual stages or even GC. In the sprints I've still got Degenkolb and Bouhanni who should probably get two or three stages between them. Finally, Moncoutie will hopefully win the mountain jersey once again.

Alberto CONTADOR SAX 24
Juan Jose COBO MOV 14
Igor ANTON EUS 14
Joaquím RODRÍGUEZ KAT 18

So I have clearly gone for mountains this time. In the TdF I went more for sprinters, but as I couldn't really seem to find quality sprinters to place in the team besides from two at max, then I decided to go for something else.
John Degenkolb won today, which is a pretty lucky punch, as I had no idea whether or not he would be really competitive. I hope Bouhanni can get some points but don't really know. Otherwise I'll just have to wait for the mountains, and hope that Froome doesn't have what it takes

Only just realised Kiriyenka and Hoogerland didnt start
why does Velogames let you choose riders who aren't even there
well im screwd unless contador-froome-valverde get a 1-2-3 while gilbert and breschel get 2-3stage wins and heneo wins young rider

There's no U25 classification. Just combination.
