Good from Agudelo, as expected from Vasquez. Now I hope we'll hunt a stage win, as we got lot of climbing potential in our team for this race, hopefully they try their luck either in the early breakaway or in a mid stage attack.
Congratulations to ltt, quite unexpected winner of that MTT I must say! |

Sousa did a very good TT, unfortunately the time gaps were small so i expect him to loose some places in the upcoming harder stages.

Very clever mresuperstar with the last picture comparing GC favourites and stage rankings.
Marzano has this by a nose - how will Emu export play this one wonders?
Meanwhile CalGiant are doing the good ole JRB trick of packing the lower places as Aker Sol are doing as well. Guys this is a trademark for solo use of Jayco - please number twos and three do something stupid and drop back

Great to see Martinez pull that off. Good rides from Peterson and Brandt too

Fair ride from Bosisio - I laughed out loud when I saw he was down as a favourite.
His best chance of a high GC position is the AI to fail and let him get away and grab a minute or two on a hilly/mountain finish. |

California Giant would like to respond to the allegation that the Berries are packing the lower orders in the fashion of JiRB. This is merely a temporary state of affairs. We intend to pack the podium

Hmm, did the wind change or something?
Anyway, more than happy that Marzano stole seconds on the Emu duo

And that's why i was annoyed that Martinez fell over on the previous stage
Really tight stage though, was expecting there to be bigger gaps than there was.
And I was searching for my lucky rabbits foot as it got closer to the end |

By far the best stage that we have had in this race, Santaromita was really great to watch and to be beaten only by Raisin is nothing to be ashamed of!
Btw. beside another good report Mresuperstar then I've to give a special mention this picture in the report: https://i1080.phot...%205/1.jpg
It's simply outstanding!

Well done Colby and the D2 team, that counts as success!
6th in stage and 25th overall, nice work.
Big stage for Emu as well...obviously

And thats why you need to make sure you have riders good enough to support your team leader in a race! VW didnt, and now all the GC favourites suffer.
Still, could work in Marzano's favour if the game now makes the breakaway riders the leader of their teams, there's still time for some big gaps to be won.

Not unexpected that a break took it today.
It's interesting how Mattia Cattaneo seems to be growing in strength as the season progresses. Good result for him today.
Marzano is quite an attacking rider - I don't think today will hurt him much in the greater scheme of things.

Yeah if the Giro d'Italia is anything to go by he will just attack 100km from the finish a couple of days in a row and force everyone to chase him back. The difference is that no one at this level is capable of chasing him like that.

wohooo! Sending a strong team here is working well. The goal is GC win though, which I think Raisin has the ability to hold onto. If he does get dropped though we can still cope.
One thing is for sure this will be very close. |

Wooo, Colby is a hero! Impressive ride by him and also by Van Niekerk. I guess this alone saves our race.
Great win for Raisin as well, the gaps in this stage make the GC very interesting for the following stages. Really enjoyed the report, Mresuperstar.

This would've been okay IF the last stage had been a new mountain stage :/ Now I'm afraid Marzano lost the race

Great stuff from our old man! I seriously wonder if he can hold on to a top 10 overall. What is "scary" is that Vasquez/Agudelo might drop to help him on the penultimate stage, I can only cross fingers they don't!
Congratulations to Emu, this is turning out to be an outstanding race for them, both in terms of points and results, which obviously is related |

A bit disappointing result from Martin out of the breakaway group.
Rolland does a somewhat good job, but all these medium climbers now way ahead of him isn't good at all. A Beauce-like performance would have helped a lot more.
