Oh, come on. UK never wins, because they send horrible songs over and over again.
It's not a matter of political voting - it's a matter of cultural differences and similarities. Which is why Denmark, Norway and Sweden tend to vote for each other and why Russia and the old Soviet "allies" vote for each other. |

Exactly. UK won't win because the only places with cultural similarities are either not in europe or are ireland, who hate us. And we're on first this year. Therefore it is impossible for britain to win eurovision

As the world has become more globalised since those victories, cultural differences have decreased.
We lose because we enter terrible, terrible acts.

I loved the Swedish song from the moment I heard it,which is weird as I thought I wouldn't like it.
I also loved Slovenia and Slovakia. Ukraine were amazing but Giatana is no where near as good as Mika Newton last year
UK are just awful, the song is rubbish, Hump is too old, BBC sort it!
Denmark, really like their song and Soluna is hot
But I think the favourites are Sweden, Russia, Cyprus, Lithuania as a dark house, very catchy song and wonderfully sung.
But my favoruites of all the acts this year are, Sweden, Cyprus, Belgium, Germany (Lob song I think it awesome  , Slovenia, Denmark.
Surprisingly I didn't think I would like so many songs this year and all of them will be going onto a playlist on my Ipod. Still think last year was better. Over the past 2 years I have found singers I have loved and went on to become my favourites singers, (Lena Meyer Landrut and Mika Newton), I wonder who I will fall in love with this year, if any!

5. Cyprus
6. Denmark
7. Azerbaijan
8. Germany
9. Lithuania
10. Italy.
Interesting fact, Ukraine were also allocated position 25 in the final last year

Lithuania!? What the hell are you smoking, Donny can't sing and the orchestra sounds like rubbish :s
Also Montenegro did 1 thing well, the lyrics. He sings: Euro neuro, I got no ambition,
for high position and competition
with their condition.
He's absolutely RIGHT!

Montenegro song was hilarious, the way he sang it just make me laugh so much, it was well put together

Just heard the UK for the first time, I don't really get the fuss about the song... Sung brilliantly but it lacks emotion apart from the last sentence in the chorus. Still 7,5 marks from me  |
