He could chose only one, but in the end, he was sentenced to ride with both. =)  |

I dont know if voigt will follow now though... He would fit but i have a gut feeling that Bruyneel wont be willing to sign him. I am open for a very positive suprise concerning him.

Leopard offered most of their riders 3 or even 4 year contracts. How can they cancel those, without in some way, having to pay remaning salary for the entire contract? I mean, if a rider is to cancel his contract, I belive they have to either pay themself, or get their new team to pay, how can they just disband a contract, simply because they merge? It's not the riders fault they end up with more than 30 riders.
Or is there some kinda tricky way to say they close Leopard-trek and therefore, all contracts are gone, and those they decide to keep, gets a new?

Paulinho is going to SaxoBank for the same reason Jesus Hernandez and Benjamin Noval are there: because they're good friends with Contador. None of the other portuguese riders shares that status so, unless Sergio pulls some strings, that won't happen.
Anyway if it wasn't for José Azevedo, I guess most of those riders wouldn't have ridden for Radioshack, so in some way it's kinda fair.
About Greenedge, I hope they don't get a WT license, at least just yet. It's only natural that they don't get it this year. That way they'll have to earn the invitations from the bigger races which will only develop the team. Also I think it'll be good for them to have a 1st season to mature.

As long as they race in as little races as possible, they're doing cycling a favour, although having both gone, would be prefered.
