The way I see it if players start missing deadlines then either
- Goals are selected by admins ( a bit like the game does)
or
- the teams license is revoked.
Three of the names are Protour teams that creates a problem. But I am sure some very active CTour players who just missed promotion would be quite happy to take their place - Bianchi for example. As far as the two CTour players are concerned of course they can be replaced by new players.
I don't think a few players should be holding up the game for everybody.
Could also be a possibility that managers who have been doing a particulary good job (like race reporters) and/or really active managers could take over the Pro Tour squads. (Instead of removement)
Like in the current situation one of the PT squads could be disbanded (thus letting Bianchi who had hopes of getting promoted earlier get promoted) and 2 teams could be taken over by someone else (like Rjc, Fenian and SN got), my suggestion would then be Smowz for one of them.
A bit to premature to be talking about disbandment no? I mean, they were asked to do it until tomorrow (the latest). Just the fact that they were online does not automatically mean they had the time to do the goals.
Not wanting to play the devil's advocate here, just thinking we're getting way ahead of ourselves.
The key point of the first post was: Please complete this as fast as possible
And the problem is, the scenario that no disbandment is discussed, in the hope that they all magically become active, but then one or two of them dont - inparticular thinking ProTour here - and that messes up the game.
They all posted to say they would continue and had the time to commit to do so.
And if theyre busy, they could have the courtesy of sending me a quick PM to say so, much more useful than ignoring and saying nothing.

Are we soon going to need some sort of "Why can't I be online thread " because I've got to be honest, with a trip to London and with the exams coming up, then I might get in trouble too, especially if this collide with the renewal/transfer period.

Usually people PM me about that stuff, and a couple have done so already
Ryca, I had to problem last year, and SN helped my alot (among other stuff he took screenshots of the db), so if you need some help and you're away I can help you like that (so that it dosen't take time for SN)

Like I did, over a month before they happen. Always good to make notice in advance. And I still think that the PM title I chose, sounds like a virus message of some sorts...

Isn't dudi new? Not exactly a brilliant show on his part.
More annoying, he really only got a CT team rather than one of the new division teams, as I personally vouched for him. Hoping that he'd stick around to make a Polish team, for a bit of a difference. Clearly I chose wrong.

This. I were really busy last year in this part of the season plus I was without of internet connection at home, but still I had some time to quickly PM SN.
I think that these guys are having time to do theirs goals to the time when renewals of other teams are finished - I think the renewals can start right now. If they won't have theirs goals in that time done = disbanding of the team IMO.
A warning to all though - even if goals are completed fairly soon, Im not guaranteeing transfers will take place any time soon. Yes it would be nice to have them done sooner rather than later, and June may seem quite some way away, but its asking for a lot of work in a very short space of time and Im not sure that I really want that.
Particularly when I am not happy with a couple of key elements in generating renewal demands, but cant really see how to alter it without then increasing the average wage of all riders, which is certainly not ideal
Noone will blame you anyway SN, you're doing a lot of work on this and we all appreciate it. Of course I wish that the transfer season starts asap, but it's more important that you have fun with it so it's no pressure. Do it at the speed that suits you ;-)
And if you ever need help with something you think I can help you with, just send a msg ;-) You deserve all the help you can get
