World Championships Team Time Trial Result
Podium
1) Sunweb
2) BMC
3) Sky
Team Sunweb picked up a somewhat surprising victory ahead of favoured trio BMC, Sky and Quickstep. The winning team had only one picker. BMC was picked by six members while Sky was backed by five. The most popular pick, Quickstep, missed the podium to finish in fourth place.
Croatia gets maximum points for Sunweb but his other picks finished lower down the order. He still picks up win here. Emre, Selwink, Raziz and Aquarius get second and third places on the podium correct to tie for the runners-up spot in this race. There are no zero scores.
The points update will come after the World Championships end. Stay tuned...
