Some good points for the team and it's good to see that Alberto and Samu contest in the sprints. Just don't waste too much energy.

I said Prorace would be happy with 1 victory at this Giro, but at the moment that win is not even on the horizon. We are a classics team, and a good one at that, so it isn't the end if we do nothing in this GT or any GTs .... but a stage win would be nice, however, we will settle for seeing the Greek champ in the break! |

Our long term goal of getting Jonny McEvoy a GT top 10 was so close there! WTF?!
Oh well, time to look for a stage win now boys.

Good stage 2 for the youth team with Ruben Fernandez taking 2nd and his main helper finishing 13th. Hoping for a strong GC from my young cyclists.

So we come into the Giro as the home [WT] team, and naturally, despite not really having a top GC contender, we send a fairly strong squad, looking for stage wins. One of the main riders is Guardini, who according to the Startlist/DB is the equal fourth best sprinter here. Results?
S2: Slightly hilly, so with low hill stat got dropped. Understandable
S3: Flat, 14th
S4: Hilly, so finishes practically last
S5: Pan flat, 75th
S6: Pan flat once again, 15th
S7: Mountain, 'nuff said
S8: Fairly flat, 34th
Gonna be a looooong Giro...

Vangenechten wins the mass sprint.
Well, that is fantastic and makes the Giro for us. Elmiger leading the KOM for a few days, as well, shows the team has a whole lotta heart. |

Alright. Just so I can feel the satisfaction of beating Stromeon
Stage 2: 16th - Just warming up
Stage 3: 8th - Getting better
Stage 4: 6th - Martin staying with the GC contenders
Stage 5: 7th & 8th - A good stage for the Sprinters
Stage 6: 2nd - Farrar with a really good sprint
Stage 7: 12th - Martin again not far behind
Stage 8: 2nd - Farrar beaten on the line for the 2nd time!
A good start to the teams first Giro! Hopefully we get a stage win or 2 and contest the sprinters jersey...

Carpathian U25 (Stage 3, 4 & 5) finished.
Good stage win by Contador, great overall team performance so far.

Great ride from Conti and Mohoric. Herklotz did great too with a 13th place GC. |

Shonak - How is this working out? Are you:
1. Racing the races in 3d and then posting the results.
2. Posting results which Bikex has sent you.

that seems more likely case, otherwise I don't think Bikex would have waited to post results. would surprise me if it's actually the second |

As previously stated, the Giro has been raced by Bikex and is posted by knockout. The other May races are done by knockout and myself. I will race Tour des Fjords and World Ports Classics, knockout will take care of Amgen and Tour d'Andorra.
EDIT: Well you're surprised then Luigi. It's actually quite fast to get such a stage race over with once you leave out the whole reporting side of things et cetera
