With the season nearly over (just a few National Championships to be ridden) the Eddie Stobart Management Team are currently in a meeting
to try and decide where the team goes from here following there relegation from the PCT Division. There are a lot of pieces in the jigsaw which need looking at such as the strength and depth of the team
and whether or not there are riders within the squad who have not performed as expected and there fore may have there contracts cancelled as a result
There are obviously going to be some major changes before the start of the new campaign and so there will be no stone left unturned.
Which riders are the team going to keep and which are going to be surplus to requirements, watch this space for future developments........ |

The Eddie Stobart Procycling awards dinner finally took place this evening after being delayed due to the flooding that took place in the Cumbria area last month
A better than expected turn out boosted the attendance
UCI President Brian Cookson was the special Guest of Honour at the proceedings
Chris Boardman
Malcolm Elliott
and Johann Museeuw and Mario Cipollini all attended the bash
The first award of the night was for the Performance of the season and this went to Mark Cavendish for his Overall win at the Eneco Tour
Young Rider of the Season went to
Spoiler Gert Joeaar
And finally Rider of the Season went to and deservedly so

With the Transfer Window yet to be opened and a lot of riders not yet sure where they will be applying there trade, it was still business as usual for the guys as they stretched there legs on a cold day hoping to get rid of the excess weight picked up over the Christmas period
