Before the rise of Team Sky, the Spanish cyclists were the centre of doping discussions.
There were very few people who cheered for Contador and Valverde. Now things are clearly different, though they're still the same riders.
After what happened with the Fuentes case (50x times worst with the decisions in the Armstrong case) I lost creability (not shore if it's the word that I want) in, well, let's say, that protecting stars from the country (100% shore that names of Spanish Football National Team would be there, same thing with Rafa Nadal) was more important than actually get dopers. |

The 'hate' towards Horner clearly started yesterday because, him being an einzelganger, a bad teammate... It evolved into doping later on
Moreno on the other hand is a nice guy, who is very loyal to his leader (a bit too loyal maybe...) though he clearly has the talent to be a team leader himself. Which makes him much easier to like Horner. And because no one says something bad about him, it doesn't evolve multiple pages of calling him a doper

Hey. I've called him suspicious, and even issoisso agrees!! And being nice has nothing to do with it for me. Don't care if a rider is nice, or arrogant, or a prick, for me what concerns is his "training methods" and results....
About Horner: being 41 and blasting away the opponents in that final km is ridiculous. And I don't mention the rider 15
About Moreno: blasting away the opponents while the lactate should have come out of his ears, but still be able to ride out of the saddle, and riding for Katusha, is ridiculous.
I hope a suspicious free rider wins this Vuelta, let's say Mollema (and no, not because he's Dutch, but simply because I tend to believe he's clean).

I'd rather see Mollema than Valverde, too
And I even sympathize with Horner being an einzelganger, but I dislike the rider because of the obviousness of doping! |

Lotto has had a rider in the break-away everyday.
On Lotto's sprint strategies, I'm 100% Henderson is their man for sprints like today, helped by Hansen, Reynes and maybe Van der Sande. Van der Sande isn't a sprinter, more like Meersman-type and he can get his chance in the more hilly stages if Henderson gets dropped. |

Most likely, Van der Sande will be dropped too then, judging by his results so far. |

What? Is Ricco joining mid stage again?

Could a pure sprinter contest today?

Don't think the stage will require quite that much time to complete, but the way the peloton at pacing at the moment... Yes Ricco shall be. Not like the breakaway is over the magical 1'00" for 10km rule yet, but the profile is hardly flat so it is debatable if that guideline even works today.
Though if the kilometres keep ticking down and the gap keeps coming up the peloton are going to have to give one heck of a chase to bring 10'00" plus back.
Edit #1: Garmin-Sharp come to the front to help begin reeling in the breakaway. Gap starting to fall now, back below 10"00 and headed towards 9'00".

Wes Sulzberger broke his collarbone in a crash yesterday. Finished the stage, then had tests that revealed the break. |

Beacuse riding for former Crashobank the most clean team ever is a assurance for cleaning riding |

Well(allright, it's me again, sorry), Mollema has always been talented, winning Avenir and such. It makes him more believable than f.e Froome
And riding for a former-doping team doesn't mean that he dopes. There are so many teams like that in the peloton now

I don't think anyone can name a rider who can score a GC top 10 here, who hasn't ridden for a team/teammate/sports director that has (previously) been linked to doping.
I dare you. |

That's so odd. Mountain stages here have less climbing than flat stages, looking at the profile |

Almost every team Team in the Peloton has a doping past thats why is nonsense to say someone is suspect beacuse he rides for A or B Team. If so then 90% of riders are doping. I cant remember a single team without doping problems i think someone once said Argos Shimano but im not sure about that. |

Kemna was suspended for 6 months for his Rabo period, so fully dope-free it's not. I do believe they ride fully clean though

Well, hey, you just suggested that riding for Rabo/Belkin means that he's already very suspicious, so don't contradict yourself now
