The race leaves the Alps into Valence on a day with strong wind, where the heat comes into play and the sprinters will get another opportunity to succeed.

Sprinters vs rouleurs round 2, I think it may tilt the other way tomorrow but there are plenty reasons why today's scenario will repeat itself, on what should be a long slog into Carcassonne.

How to win from a breakaway 101 with Magnus Cort Nielsen on ITB. Another breakaway bingo as the riders fly into the third week with a day marked by a set of dificult climbs but a rough headwind to balance things out.

The Vuelta a España starts tomorrow and with a nasty prologue that in 7Km includes some climbing, some cobblestones, tricky descending a lot of technical corners, where you can only expect the unexpected and a brilliant fight for red.

We've got the opening road stage, flat one but a dangerous one as the wind will be blowing and the plains of Burgos will be the location to a very nervous battle between the fast men.

We have a tricky sprint stage tomorrow, with some wind adding to the mix of a hot day that has a nasty uphill finish that should nonetheless see an interesting bunch sprint.
