VisitUkraine unsurprisingly winning the TTT and Eddy the Boss already sneakily winning stages. Fjhoeckie is off to a flying start. Suntory with a great ttt but the traditional wtf when they drop Bardet.
WTF Its a goal race FFS. Bardet better not be 22 seconds off the win! And I specifically did not bring Hepburn to avoid that risk.
Pleased with a podium from Zabel though and Bardet a lot more attentive on stage 2
Three of our brave U23 riders survived Aleko Vitosa with a surprising 5th place for Crochet from the break.
Thanks Bikex - looking forward to the Quintana/Aru/Bardet MO 82 matchup.

You gotta love Aleko Vitosa <3
Decent start for the team. I can't wait for the hills to kick in!

Stellar performance by the team! Uran in pink with that stagewin is an awesome sight in our goal race! Also having put time into Bardet early can become vital later. Also Polanc looking better than so far this season, so we might have a triple threat here which is great to have. Hopefully Uran can hand over pink smoothly to Quitana at some point, because he looked absolutely beautiful in that Colombian NC. Awesome job by the_hoyle once again!

Yay, Aleko!
Only the future Zimbabwean star Mapemba finished for our Dev team, but fun nevertheless.
Also, De Gendt starting alright in the Giro, it's important that he stays strong in the first week before the rec stat kicks in so he's doing well so far, Nizzolo not having a terrible sprint either.

What is wrong with Intxausti? Even Parra is doing better than him! Degenkolb holding up our fort solo. Hopefully he doesn't have any crashes or bad days...
Congrats Croatia
Thanks for the reports Bikex!

First stage win is a good start, time to follow up with a second
Was quite cool to see the loads of riders getting dropped when the CarbonSports action unfolded but we couldnt hurt any GC contenders
Kittel was in the wind too early, not sure where Ewan was left behind :/
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

The AI on stage 3... when watching I was thinking, if somebody attacks now, he'll gain a nice gap and slip into pink. And as I was thinking that, Uran and Kiserlovski did. I was rooting for Vegeta's man but unsurprisingly Uran was stronger.

Bad positioning by Wellens on stage 3, let's hope he can recover a bit.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

First three stages of Giro Valle d'Aosta uploaded. https://pcmdaily.c...st_1281854
Stage 3 delivers the traditional insanity, however it was too long to make a video about it Video https://www.youtu...e=youtu.be
Happy with how Fernandez is riding in Il Giro. Same goes for our alumni Verona who was unlucky that there wasn't a gap recorded on s3. Unfortunately Intxausti is doing way worse with basically the same to better stats. Bardet with the worst start into a GT, jeez. Especially since his team looked to be in control going into the climb and was leading still up until the attacks from Aru and Quintana. My hopes are that Suntory can make it back and that the promised 3-way battle isn't over before we have hit the mountains.

Thanks Shonak great results for Project Africa.
Giro stages 5,6 and 7 up: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1281689
First a sprint stage then a mountain stage with no action due to a flat run into the finish and lastly a hilly stage in the Toscana with some attacks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9iiz...9iizMIWlkg
Having raced all of the Giro now I can promise you two more exciting weeks with lots of drama.
Spoiler I know some leaders have already lost lots of time, including my Konrad (17 minutes). I mostly can seriously not say why, some appear to just have arrived at the Giro with a terrible form. |

Our Dev team doing okay, although Dumont is scoring so little he's not going to develop much this year.
Wellens following again, it's not a bad thing but his finishing positions seem to indicate he's not trying much.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Hagen is insane. Surviving a mountainstage, and even reclaiming pink for the time being.
Konig far down already, but willing to attack, which is fine in this race, not here for a GC anyways.

Eddy the Boss, not surprised to see him in maglia rosa again. Great to have finally see his awesomness in a GT. Well done fjhoeckie. And Aru declaring war on Grupa Argos, we have a fight. Fernandez well hanging with the favourites, looks like he can make a Top 10, which would be the best GT result of one of my lieutants I think, by far.

disaster on stage 7
Boasson Hagen is causing some serious pain, but we shouldn't let Aru go like that
Uran loosing time there is painful, same for Polanc. Is Aru now the favourite after that stage?
Also: Konrad or Aru: the fight for Polka Dot has begun...

Good to see Aru winning a stage already. I really hope he can continue like this. Another good this is that EBH still has the maglia Rosa so our guys don't have to start to degene it already.
Maybe the best thing i've seen so far is Paolo Colombo who surely looks great in the Blue jersey
