Huge first pro win for Thomas Boudat. Only 21 and winning a 203km race including an 1100m high climb. Beat some pretty good sprinters as well.

Well, they had 160km time to catch up if the climb dropped them.
Archbold doesn't really seem like a competitive sprinter in that field for me...maybe even a late attack from those two?

True, though Boudat is a decent enough climber anyway. Directvelo reported it as a sprint, but could have been. The break was caught late on in the race, so could have just been disorganised - Archbold was his team's leader after all here. |
