Love how Katusha are racing Dauphiné. They should be a good breakaway motor for most stages come le Tour.

I don't know about that. Kristoff will be contender for sprinter or semi-sprinter stages. And Spilak should be a good bet for top 10 or higher. |

Contador & Nibali making the race a bit faster in the descent. Climb has been rather dull, looks like SKY isn't sure about Froome's condition?
Any guess to who of Katusha's boys will win? Trofimov has already a stage win but well.

Never forget Purito.

Did I miss something, will he really be racing Tour? |

To be honest, knowing it's Tour and fact that WC is in Spain I would still bet on Spilak being the real leader for GC. |

But Purito is merely building up form for Vuelta.
I don't think that a little breakaway fun will hurt Kristoff's ambition all too much. Giant, Lotto and Omega are the top-dogs and will do the work regardless of Katusha joining in or not. As for Spilak Top 10, well - dunno, don't really see it happening.

Boring stage so far. We missed nothing. Katusha again in the attack and the peleton doing nothing. Don't the favorites want a win? |

Why? He would already have done that last year if raced a GT. Spilak has progressed a lot during last two seasons. He might be unproven in GT, but results he's shown, especially in Romandie, makes me believe in abilities as a GC rider. |

Thing is, only team who is strong enough to catch the break is Sky and they are really not interested in giving Conta and opportunity for bonus seconds. Maybe Froome isnt feeling 100% after the crash yesterday, dno. |

Personally I don't think Froome looking that great, but since I've said that expect him to now blow everyone apart by over a minute.
