Yes if you don't want to sign any scouts you can use it all on scouting packages. I'll make a post about it later! |

Thank you, Bikex, I got my first report! Only six riders though. 
So I have to ask: If I let my scout focus on 1 to 3 riders, will I get (even) fewer reports from the normal monthy scouting report? Or is that something I should always do?

Yeah that were indeed very few riders, should become more in the next few reports.
I don't know completely certain any more but I'm quite sure that how many riders you focus on does not have an influence on how many are newly found. |

It would make sense if a scout spends time to focus on certain riders he has less time for general scouting (=same overall number of impressions). Well, I'll risk it anyway and focus on a rider with just a [+] first impression.

Damn, my scout just can't find any good Brits so far. I don't think my dev team next season will look much better than it does now.

Talents Signing
As announced before it is possible from round 8 on to make contracts with talents you have found via Scouting for next season. As now August (=8th month) started we also proceed into round 8 in Scouting. If you want to sign talents please donwload this file: https://www.mediafire.com/file/ijs19op....xlsx/file
This file is easy to handle:
#1 Enter your team ID
#2 Enter the ID of the riders you want to sign into the respective column (orange coloured). The other cells will automatically be filled out.
#3 Send me the table via PM
All talents that you successfully sign, will get a wage of 100. If several teams want to contract a rider, there will be a silent auction. The team bidding the highest will get the rider. If two teams bid the same, the team that found the rider earlier will get him.
You do not need to have completed 7 rounds of Scouting, but it's of course beneficiary if you have. Of course you can still continue Scouting before sending in bids, if you haven't reached round 7 or even if you haven't even started.

Scouting Packs
Like already announced it is also possible to use your scouting budget for Stat packs. Each pack contains 5 talents with full information on all stats. There are four different types of packs. One without guarantees (Pack 1), one with one guaranteed Pot4+ (Pack 2) rider one with pot5+ (Pack 3) and one with Pot6+ (Pack4). Besides that it is also possible to request full stats for a single rider you know the ID of.

If you want to buy packs, please send me a PM stating what packs you'd like. I'll then send you the riders included in your pack. If you want to request the stats of a single rider, PM me with his ID.
You can decide what rider types are included in your pack. If you specify nothing, all will be included. If you want only Specific rider types please select from these 7 types:
Stage Racer, Climber, Timetrialist, Sprinter, Puncheur, Flandrien, Fighter
It is now also possible to specify some countries/regions where the talents in the pack come from. The ones you choose are not as restricted as in the scouting with the scouts, feel free to combine any you like.
Note that if you restrict the possible talents in your pack too much, there might not exist a talent fulfilling the potential specification of the pack. If that happens, though luck.
You can buy packs during all of the remainder of the season, you do not need to do so before the first round of talent signing. Talents included are always unsigned.

The 1 or 0 indicates if a team has signed Scouts. If you haven't done so so far I can only recommend it.
Deadline: No deadline at the moment, but try to be rather quick. If you don't think you have time to go through 7 rounds of scouting (I'll try to answer with reports quick), you can also only buy packs.

Thank you, Bikex, the scouting is great fun. I have sent in my first wishlist, 4 Brits for 3 terrains, a couple more riders need more scouting. It also looks like there is a very talented guy for the cobbles, but he's 18 with an AVG below 63, would take forever to whip him into shape.

Of course. 100 is enough to get some decent talents.
The cheapest possible scout you can sign only costs 40, also scouting packs are of course an option (and take less time). For 80 you will know at least one pot6+ talent! |
