I see your point TMM but to not fake the points, I need votes from everyone. That's the reason I had to make them, I didn't alter anyone who voted's points. The voting whilst results are starting to be posted was a one off due to the fairly high amount of people who hadn't already voted by the deadline as I wanted them to get their voice heard rather than me having to do the votes for them. What I need for it to work is for everyone to vote, yourself included, and there will be no 'faked' nations. However in reality at least 1 or 2 won't send them in.
Over all its better that people can vote in the voting period, before the result is clear, rather than not voting at all. I appreciate the constructive criticism, but in my mind I have to disagree with you
First of all, congratulations to Finland and thank you Ewan for organising this. The Netherlands dropped a bit in the last round but 8th is still decent.
And to everyone who thinks the voting system is unfair, the best solution is to send in your votes on time. Let's hope next time everything goes as planned.
OK, I'm going to wade into Rig-Gate- this hasn't been a problem before, only now, when two of the forum's most active members have been involved.
My thoughts.

My point seems to be getting a little lost and mis-interpreted by some people.
My point is not that 'faking' votes is bad, but that a 'faked' vote should not alter the final order of the competition. In this case the 'faked' votes altered a number of nations final positions. That is my issue.
'Faking' votes is not a bad idea, and done properly to add a touch more drama is a good thing. Pulling it off successfully is a really clever trick that massively adds to the results. So do 'fake' votes and use them to add some much needed extra drama. But they shouldn't impact the final result.
If you want 'faked' results to impact the result, by which i mean have an effect on the finishing order, then it can be done but only as a last resort. PM people who hvn't voted as a reminder, PM's are much easier to notice and i always get an email when someone sends me a PM so i won't miss it in the same way i missed the posts in the thread.
And when it comes to 'faking' results to affect the final order, use a random generator.
The voting after results have been posted, well i guess we'll just disagree on that.
I've been involved in enough games on the site i know what i'm going about. I'm not out to criticise, i'm out to help develop and improve the game for future editions. And clearing up 'fake' voting is pretty much the only problem the DSC has at the moment.

If you mean me I'm honored. Probably not tho.
I truthfully only noticed when my vote came up despite not voting this time I thought everyone calling rigged was a load of crap until I asked Ewan about it after my "votes" appeared. I congratulate Ewan on a nice idea but as TMM said, don't change the dear, and don't let people vote after results start. I'm siding with TMM but it was certainly a great idea Ewan, you might have just made a small mistake shuffling the order with your votes.

2015 drew to a close last night, ending what was the Daily Song Contest's opening year. Since then we have heard 91 songs, 41 different countries have graced the DSC stage, we've visited 4 nations and cities, and we have had one hell of a time! In this video I will reveal my top 15 of this year's 4 editions as we recap what has been a fantastic opening year for the DSC!
White lines getting some love, not enough NZ there but I'm not enough of an Ewan-pleaser to go Lorde. She's happy reading votes.

Please go for something by Flight of the Chonchords at some point.
None of my picks made it onto the list but I know my picks haven't been the most popular songs through the contest so didn't really expect them to.
I've got a few songs I'd like to put forward in future editions but some of them have guys that always pick that nation so it might be hard to get them in the contest.

Is one of these nations Greece?
